My grandma sent me a picture message a few weeks ago with a picture of a pearl necklace in a jewelry store. The message said, "something old... something new.. which do I get to supply?" My Grami cracks me up!
Well, the other day my grandma and I went out to look at pearl necklaces to wear with my wedding dress.
I didn't really want to have white pearls, because my dress isn't white and I thought that it might look weird. I also had to worry about the length, because I didn't want them to be too long and drape over my dress, since it's strapless.
And then.... I saw them.... these multicolored beauties pictured to the left. I put them on... and fell in love. I think they will go perfectly with my dress! Perfect colors... perfect length!
So... my grandma supplied the "something new" :)
I have never owned a pair of real pearls! I love them <3
