Yesterday, my mom, my sister (MOH) and I went BM dress shopping and we had soo much fun! It tooks us from 10:30am-4:30 to go to 5 different bridal stores all around Phoenix. The first store we went to was a small place by my moms house. We walked in and it was so small! ...there was just one wall of dresses to look at. We started lookin' through and eventually pulled out 3 that we thought were cute.
My sister tried the first dress (pictured in orange) and we all loved it! It was simple, fitted, yet very pretty, light and flowy. It was chiffon material.
The second dress we pulled was very similar to the first one, but it was a one shoulder strap dress. The strap of the dress had flowers on it but we decided that we didn't like it enough to take a picture of it...so, it was out!
The third dress was another one that we all really liked! This one was also a chiffon, one shoulder strap dress with a flower (pictured in pink).
After we found these two dresses (that could quite possiby be the one we choose), it was hard going into the other 4 stores because we liked the ones at the first store. Ater we were done shopping, I sent a picture to all my girls and asked their opinions. They all liked the pink one except for one girl...and than they ALL liked the orange one. We were thinking that since both of these dresses are from the same designer and are the same material, that my sister (MOH) could wear the one shoulder dress and all the BMs would wear the simple strapless one. I lilke the idea of the MOH standing out alittle from the other girls. Whats your opinion on this?
I really do like these two dresses, BUT i still have the VERY first dress (lace overlay dress pictured in an earlier post) in my head! I found myself comparing all the dresses to the lace one. That was also a dress that everyone liked but my sister said she likes the pink chiffon better than the lace dress because the material is alot thinner and lighter (lace dress is satin). In case you didn't know, i live in Arizona and my wedding will be in April...which is when the weather really starts to get warm right before summer officially hits! I have to keep reminding myself that these two dresses would be better because they are more light weight and would make all the girls much more comfortable. ALSO! the store where we would purchase these dresses from seem really professional, helpful, and personable! I didn't feel like I had to flag someone down like i did at all the other stores.
BTW, my BM dresses will be a deep/dark pink color. =) What do you think of these two dresses?
