Should the flower girl dress match my wedding dress?

When I ordered my wedding dress in ivory rather than white, I hadn’t thought about the flower girl dress. Typically, the flower girl dress is white because the brides dress is white….right…or no lol?

Since mine is ivory, does my flower girl dress need to be ivory too? Every dress we like just happen to like is only available in white :(

I just might end up having to get a white flower girl dress…hopefully it doesn’t look odd in pictures!

i dont think they have to match really i think its ok if it is in white and your dress is in Ivory. God with what you find hun as long as it is beautiful go with it :) xox

I would do an ivory dress for the flower girl to keep it cohesive in pictures.  You don't want your dress to look dingy up against her's in pictures, good luck hun!

I agree, I think if you find a white one you love, go with it. :) I am planning on having my flower girls in pink, so I think it's really what you like.

I agree with justmeandhim in pics it may make your dress look a dingy color, however if you want white then I don't think it is that huge of a deal! Just a suggestion... why not try a colored flower girl dress?? They have so many cue dresses out now that you don't have to go with a "typical" flower girl dress! Check online there are tons of dresses in color and even some bridal shops may be able to have colored ones as well!

I had my flower girl in a hot pink dress to match the bridesmaids, but if you are going with something to look like your definitely go ivory

agree with live2sing. I would chose Ivory or another color in the wedding theme for the flower girl.
But the FG doesn't have to match your dress. Pink will work nicely like you said. The FG should look adorable in her own way, and not like a creepy replica of the bride with veil makeup and everything XDXD

I agree with justmeandhim, ur dress will look dingy against theirs. BUT It's ur day boo, so follow ur gut.
