This is misslexy03's Blue Wedding!

So ladies if you have not noticed by now we are having just a fun laid back wedding full of polka dots, sandals, and sun glasses. We have also decided to add some fun into our menu for our reception. We thought about doing a sit down dinner but honestly that is not use so we decided to do appetizers from around the world.... We are going to have some italian in there with some spinich and cheese raviolis (if that is how it is spelled). Our asian influence is going to be cream cheese and crab filled wontons...yum yum that was my pick!!!! Our american dish is going to be mini cheeseburgers with cajun tots....and the main attraction is going to be our one of a kind nacho bar with 4 different kinds of cheeses and every topping that you could ever imagine for nachos...(my fiance' LOVES nachos) So what do you think about our menu....oh yeah we are also going to have the fresh veggies and fruits...and imported meats and cheeses, but those are the boring things!!!!

I just want to add that by having just appetizers instead of a sit down dinner we saved $2000.00!!!

So here is my dillema I had found some very cheap bridesmaid dresses and I have ordered one, but when I got the dress it was too far off from the color of my flower girl dress. So I sent that dress back. I have found 5 more dresses online but before I order them I need to see which one you girls like the best and if the color goes ok with my flower girl dress!!!

So the first four dresses are all by eden bridal and the blue square is the blue that I can get them in

The fifth dress is by Bill Levkoff and that is the color that it comes in!!!

The last dress is my flowergirl dress, do you think that the two blues match ok with it or should I keep looking???

Please help my I need to get these dresses ordered soon or else they wont be here in time!!!

You know ladies...Although I have been stressed out over a lot over this wedding and I know that there is going to be more to come....I sat down today and thought about how wonderful this whole experience has really been and how lucky of girl I am for getting to plan this day where the one I love and I will become one!!! While I was thinking I thought back to the first thing I bought for my wedding and it was my fiance's ring...geez I could have bought something for me but no I bought his ring!! Haha do you think that I am really excited about getting married.

I have realized to not get so caught up in the moment and just enjoy this time because it is only going to happen once!!!

I was looking at my profile and I have only 100 days left until I say "I DO" to my one and only!!! It may seem like a long time but if you look at it really its only 3 months and 10 days....Things to do!!! Holy Crap!!! If I sat down and looked at it I probably have a list a mile long of things that I need to get done soon.

The third one is my best friend Kristy who I have know since elementry school. She is such a wonderful person.

The fourth on is another best friend Brenna. She is that crazy friend that everyone needs to have in there life!!!

The fifth one is another best friend Veronica. Brenna, Veronica, and I were 3 peas in a pod in highschool. She is a complete sweetheart and a wonderful mommy...

The last one, but certainly not least is my other friend Kristy that has come into my life recently and has really just stuck by my side through a lot of stuff over the past couple years. I adore her!!!


This is a wonderful group of girls and I would not have anyone else stand by my side on my special day!!!

There are so many delicious kinds of cake out there. I have pretty much narrowed my choice down to one kind of cake. I am doing a choclate cake with fresh cherries (my parents own a cherry orchard and the season will have just ended) in a liquor sauce. So it will be like a chocolate covered cherry (my favorite) I was thinking that I should probably have another kind for those who dont like what my choice is. What are you ladies have as your cake flavor???



Mmmm....mmmmm....mmmmm!!!

So almost all of our wedding party is coming from out of state. I have one bridesmaid coming from New York, one from Fresno, CA and one is from Seattle, WA. As for our groomsman one is coming from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Montana is not a cheap place to fly into and the cheapest tickets that I can find for my wedding party is around $700 a piece. My question to you ladies is how many of your wedding party is from out of state and what can I do with gas prices rising and plane tickets sky rocketing!!! I know that I am not paying for the tickets but I feel bad for my friends!!!

Is it just me or is anyone else completely addicted to this site??? I swear I am constantly checking back to see if anyone has posted a new blog or has a fabulous new idea!!! Its BAD!!! MY NAME IS LEXY AND I AM ADDICTED TO THIS SITE!!!

So girls I have a dilemma!!! I am having my baby twin sisters who will be 18 here soon (that brings tears to my eyes I cant believe how grown up that are now) They are both my maids of honor!! I am also having 4 girls that I grew up with and that I am best friends with. Although we all live scattered across the United States from New York to California we stay in touch very well and have remained very close since we graduated from highschool. Well I really dont want anymore bridesmaids but I am noticing that a lot of girls have there soon to be sister in law in there wedding. My question to you is this are there any of you girls out there that are not having your sister in law in your wedding??? How many of you are having your sister in law in your wedding???


I feel like a terrible person for not having her I just dont know what to do!!!

So I realized that I just jumped right into my wedding and didnt even tell you guys how he proposed to me. It was Sunday July 22, 2008 and I woke up to my alarm going off indicating to me that it was time to get up and get ready for church. Well I jumped into the shower and when I got out I went and woke Landon up to get ready for church well he said that his back really hurt and that he couldnt go to church. So I was like whatever and went on my way to church. So a couple hours later I got home and Landon was sitting on the couch eating who knows what. When he said get ready we are going to go float the river. Well ladies this set me off I was extremely pissed off. I started yelling at him saying that you cant go to church but you can go floating that is bullshit!!! I went reluctantly!!! So where we put the raft in, it is about a 4 hour float down the river to where the other car was. So I am sitting the the raft at the front with my arms crossed not even smiling one bit. I am not happy at all. We were rafting with a couple other people and Landon was just talking and smiling which honestly was making me even more and more mad at him. About 3 hours into the raft trip we came upon this really large rock in the middle of the river, so Landon pulled the raft over to this large rock and said honey come up on this rock with me and me being a brat I said "no I dont want to". He insisted so finally I did and up on top of the rock he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Well my knees started to shake and so I had so sit down so that I wouldnt fall off of the rock into the river and once I sat down I started crying and said yes. Needless to say I wasnt mad at him the rest of the day!!!

So my fiance' asked me a while back whether I would want a Big diamond or a out of this world honeymoon!!! Well I told him that since I am not all about the bling I would rather have a awesome honeymoon!!! So he picked out the perfect ring and we are in my opinon have an awesome honeymoon!!!

Since I was a little girl I always said that I was going to get married at my grandparents home!!! Picture this a white gazebo on the bluff overlooking a beautiful golf course with the mountains behind it and a river below it!! That ladies is where my very special day is going to occure!!! I am just wondering whether or not you ladies are getting married in a church or outside in the sunshine!!!

So my parents divorced when I was like 6 months old. I knew who my biological father was all my life and he is a very good guy and he loves me very much, so much that he let my step-father adopt me when I was very young since that is what I wanted. I have talked to my biological father throughout my life and I have seen him many times. He knows that my step-father is really my dad and will walk me down the isle and he is ok with that as long as he gets to be at my wedding, but here is my problem. MY MOTHER!!! She really needs to grow up that all I can say!!! Well I want my biological father to sit in the front row with my mom and dad! However my mom says that if he sits up there she will sit in the back and I dont want that either!! What do I do??

So I got my flower girl dress at Target!!! They still have it online but its now $19.99 when I got it right after Easter it was only $14.99! You cant beat that and she looks really cute in it although it is a little bit big right now!!!

Just like many of you I am always looking at ways to but costs and so I am trying to do as many DIY projects as possible. I made this ring bearer pillow for less the $3 and I think that it looks good!!! Sorry its a bad photo I took it with my cell phone and the lighting wasnt too good, but the pillow is white and it has a sheer sparkly silver ribbon with the thin strip of baby blue/white polka dot ribbon!!! I have also cut back the ribbon since I took this photo!!

We wanted to go on a cruise for our honeymoon, but we are also avid snowboarders. We live on the mountain in the winter. We came upon a problem though. We cannot afford to do both. So instead of taking a two week long cruise for $3,000 we decided to spend our money buying season passes to our local ski resort instead which will only cost us $1000 and will be good for 4-5 months depending on the snow!!!


What is everyone else doing for their honeymoons?

We have two wonderful dogs that are like children to me I have a blue healer that is a year old and his name is Truck! (I live in Montana its ok to name your dog Truck here) and I have a Beagle/Australian Shepeard that is 4 months old named Trailer (again this name is ok in Montana and he does follow our other dog around like a trailer). I wanted to incorporate them into our wedding, but I dont know for sure how I am going to do that just yet. I thought about have them as our ring bearers, but being young and hyper I dont know if that is a good idea or not!! Any suggestions???

So I have been looking and looking for ways to do my hair. I have naturally curly hair that my finace' absolutly loves and he insists that I wear my hair curly. So I havefound a picture of a hairstyle that I really like but I think that it might be too much!!! I am also having a hard time deciding with my dress if I should have a flower or small veil what do you think??

So I am totally into polka dots and this is the wedding cake that I am wanting, without the bows. To me the bows are to much, but do you think that that polka dots are fun or dumb? They would be in this exact color since my wedding colors are baby blue and silver!!!

So I ordered my wedding dress at the beginning of February. Well I just called today to check on the progress of the dress and the young lady informed me that it would not be shipped until June 6th. I know that I still have plenty of time until my wedding but it is just stressful waiting for it to come.

Is this a long time to wait or is this the normal amount of time it takes for a wedding dress to come??
