What was the first thing you bought?
You know ladies...Although I have been stressed out over a lot over this wedding and I know that there is going to be more to come....I sat down today and thought about how wonderful this whole experience has really been and how lucky of girl I am for getting to plan this day where the one I love and I will become one!!! While I was thinking I thought back to the first thing I bought for my wedding and it was my fiance's ring...geez I could have bought something for me but no I bought his ring!! Haha do you think that I am really excited about getting married. So ladies what was the first thing that you bought for your wedding??? I have realized to not get so caught up in the moment and just enjoy this time because it is only going to happen once!!!

Wedding Heart Postage Stamps were the first thing I bought. I thought I was being smart buying stamps ahead of time when I have the money. I bought 40 each of the .58 stamps for the invitations and .41 stamps for the response card.  Then I found out that postage was going up .01. Thank goodness the post office let me exchange them for the Forever Stamps. Now I have 100 forever stamps. I really liked the Wedding Heart Stamp.

The first thing I bought was the wedding program paper.

My boyfriend (at the time) and I were in the stationary section of a store, and saw flute-themed wedding program stationary.  So, we bought one package.  As soon as we were engaged, I went back and bought two more, so we'd have enough to use.

The second thing bought were books: a wedding planner, and a wedding DIY craft book.

Actually, after he proposed to me which was Valentines Day his Birthday fell a few weeks later so I bought him an engagement ring of sorts...I know cheesy but he hasn't taken it off once. After that would have to be my dress as far as SUBSTANTIAL purchases. But yes, planners, magazines, and DIY projects all come into play too...LOL
