Parents thoughts & more colors.

My parents visited this past weekend and we had talks about the wedding ceremony and reception. They seem to definitely want the wedding back where I grew up but have not offered to help with expenses still. I am so happy that my fiancé helped me stick to the decisions that we have already made, such as having a Christian ceremony with our closest friends and family. I know that my parents are probably disappointed about our choice, and worried about people feeling left out, but it is our wedding and I feel we should include only those who actually know both of us. Plus, we are paying for every aspect so far... I think I like it that way, too!

Another good thing that happened this weekend: My fiancé confirmed that he likes the colors I have chosen!!

Also, I saw an AMAZINGLY cute set of 3 clear mini vases at Wal-Mart that were inexpensive, and I think I will buy a set and keep them for myself. Hopefully they will still be around when it comes time for my reception, but I may just stock up on some. I will post another board for some of the ideas I have for the vases.
