Ok, So I was just curious to know if I'm the only bride out here who is just completely obsessed with Dr.Phil LOL... I watch it everyday & if I wont be home I PVR it lol... Tomorrows show is "The Young Wives Club" Im so excited to watch it!

CALLING ALL BRIDES FOR HELP! LOL

Okay so I have notice a lot of you have personalized backrounds, music players etc... HOW DO I DO THIS!? I have been poking around this site to figure it out, but I cant =(

OK, So its not actually wedding related BUT Im super excited to be building my very first diaper cake for my girlfriends babyshower next weekend! I rolled all the diapers lastnight before I went to bed (and my fingers hurt sooo much- lol darn breaking elastics!)

I will post a picture of it when its done, if it turns out lol....

Both FH & I are not huge fans of cake! We both however love cheesecake, so I think thats just what we may do...

here are a few ideas I really like....

Anyone have any ideas on how we should do it or present it?

I have fallen in love with this dress.. I still got 33 months to wait so I am sure I will have tons more I fall in love with! lol.

So I have been brewing up all kinds of ideas for the wedding... and I started thinking about the kissing game... I actually really do not like whole idea of the kissing game (singing a song- etc) ,but I came up with something I would LOVE to do!

KISSING FOR CAUSE:

Instead of having people ting there glasses, or sing a song I am actually going to purchase a (That Was Easy Button from staples) If the guest want is to kiss they will then have to donate some money... (hopefully AT LEAST a dollar) and the DJ will push the button and we will kiss... All the money from the game will then be donated to a cause (being cancer, heart & stroke foundation, etc) I might even have each of the guest who put money in write a cause on a slip of paper, and we will tally them all after, which ever cause is named the most will be the cause it goes toawrds =)

IM DOWN 14LBS IN 1 MONTH! I am so super excited about this! I know its not wedding related but still!

I got up to 220lbs while pregnant with my son (& I was only 140lbs before getting pregnant with my daughter) My goal is to be down to at least 150lbs by the end of June. I weighed in at 193lbs on Jan 13th and today I am 179lbs!

How I Am Doing It:

*Yoga: I bought some videos off ebay (Natural Journeys- Sarah Ivanhoe's 20 minute yoga makeover) These videos are great! I have 5. I usually wake up with the son at around 6am (same time FH gets up to go to work) I give my son his bottle, then while he is playing I do the weightloss yoga video, And then in the afternoon I do the Flat Abs video while my son is sleeping and my daughter is colouring- sometimes she tries it out with me, its pretty cute...

*Walking/Jogging: I go tanning after the FH gets home so I Jog part way there, and walk the rest. PLUS I just bought an older model treadmill of kijiji.com for $75 so I have been using that while watching Dr.Phil (walking while the show is on& jogging during commercials)

*Drinking LOTS of water (at least 8 cups a day- which is about 4 bottles of water)

*Eating proper (of close to proper) portions

-Meat: about the size of your palm & same thickness as your hand- some people say about the size of a deck of cards, or some people weigh it and I think they say its about 3 oz

-Starch: about the same size as you clenched fist (about 1 cup)

-Unlimited amount of fruits and veggies! (Not including corn- its considerd a starch)

I didnt use to eat breakfast- Now I have a meal replacement for breakfast, Something small as lunch, and for dinner I eat whatever I make for the family

*Saturday & Sunday I am free to eat whatever I want :) Got to have those days.

And the biggest things I keep in my head are the following

- Everyone slips up.. If you do, dont beat yourself up over it...

-I know I am excited about the weight I have loss, but my aunt has told me.. DO NOT worry about the number on the scale... You may lose a pound of fat, and gain a pound of mucle- not making a difference on the scale- but a difference visually - mucle takes up less room the fat

Anywho! I m sure I will write next month and let you all know how Im coming along... and if anyone else here is doing the weightloss thing, let me know how your coming along =) <3

Exactly what I wanted... (Not a honkin huge rock). I mean... big is BEAUTIFUL but just not me lol..

Hey everyone, I just thought I would write a blog on how my FH proposed, the obsticles he indured throughout the day

The FH & I had been kinda up and down all week, getting into stupid little fights so he thought it would be a good idea to get away for the weekend, we decided to head out to his cousins trailer up in Campbellford for the May 2-4 weekend.

The morning of May 21st 2007 I woke up, and the FH was no where to be found (Lets just say I wasnt exactly the happiest camper when I found out he took off four wheeling for the day and left me there with a bunch a people I didnt know- besides his cousin) Well his cousin was taking his son fishing, asked if I wanted to go along with them (not really my thing but hey better then sitting around alone right! lol) So after fishing for awhile he comes riding down to the water on the four wheeler, so we come in and the and asked if I wanted to go for a ride on the four wheeler to go see Marmora Mines, so I agreed to go.. Well what better to happen then the four wheeler breaking down! WONDERFUL! After awhile someone else comes riding by and asks if we could use some help & took the FH back to his place to use the phone to call his cousin. After getting back hes like... "okay we have to push the the quad way back there, over the bridge because the truck wont fit over it"... OH even more wonderful, its a million and one degrees out here because there is next to none shade. we have no water, and you want me to help you push this machine all the way down there... so without any complaints I did help him push it back and over the bridge.... His cousin comes, saves the day YAY! So we hed back to the trailer, hang around a little longer and then pack up to go home.

So we start on our way home and hes like "oh theres one more thing you should see while were up here", and he turns down this other road and he takes me to see Healey Falls, the locks were still closed so we actually got to walk out on the bedrock (which looks like long giant steps) below the falls, so he started taking pictures and started walking up towards the bank by all these trees, he kept telling me to climb up there so he could take some pictures on his camera phone and I was like "ahhh no if you want a picture up close then you need to march your ass back down here and take one, because I am wearing crocks and I am not climbing that hill" well after about 5 mins of back and forth I finally caved and was like whatever. So i walk up this hill and hes like okay stand right there so I can take you picture ( I was standing beside this tree) and out of the corner of my eye I could see that someone had carved something into the tree and me being as nosey as I am started to walk around the tree to see what it said... and to my surprise it said "Will You Marry Me", and under it said "Yes or No" I looked at him, looked at the tree and looked back at him, and he had pulled out my ring" It was very cute, and so him.

Orignally he planned on taking me on a nice four wheeling ride to see the mines then taking me down to the falls.. making it kind of an afternoon thing. He really wanted to take some pictures and me not seeing the carvings in the tree, then showing me the pictures, but Im nosey, and kinda wrecked that lol

All said and done, all morning while I was not exactly impressed with him, it ended up being a good thing because he spent his entire morning carving my proposal! LOL.

I'm sure not many people will be reading this but I figured I would introduce myself for those who do!

My name is Amanda, and Im 22 years old. My FH and I have 3 kids. He has a 4 year old daughter. I have a 3 year old daughter and together we have a 3 month old son! I have already been engaged for 1 year 8 months and 6 days, with still 34 months to go!
