This is missmeganrose's Blue Wedding!

I was in love with Graydon Hall Manor from the moment I saw the beautiful garden and stonework of the house... But I finally came to the realization that it isn't the best place for MY wedding. I wanted somewhere where we could come together with out family and friends and have the time of our lives. Graydon Hall Manor is classic, elegant, and beautiful but I am looking to have fun and to celebrate with my family in a way more accustom to our lifestyle.

With that said I have decided on an equally as beautiful location for my wedding...

Miller Lash House!

It has the best of everything I could ever imagine and I can't wait to go visit it in person to see what its like. Ive seen many pictures from their gallery and also photographs taken at weddings there and it is honestly the best location I could ever envision.

My sister-in-law-to-be is expecting a baby any time now and we just had her baby shower this weekend. A lot of her baby shower decorations and games were from Wilton. I checked out the kind of stuff that they had for weddings and I found these cute and simple wedding favors. They are relatively cheap and I can customize them to say whatever I like. I'm going to fill them with chocolate or maybe a candy. They have other cute stuff on the site but I think this is the only thing that I would be interested in.

I found these invitations and completely fell in love. I have already checked to make sure that they can change the colour to match my purple scheme. These match my whole image for my wedding perfectly. The plus is that they have matching everything - menus, save the dates, reception cards, etc.

The dresses I love are from http://www.dessy.com/ which is awesome because they have such a wide variety of colours and styles so I could find something very easily to fit my colour scheme... which is still narrowed down to shades of purple... still not 100%. more like 80%. I love that the dresses are also easily matched to mens accessories (ties/vests/pocket square, etc.)

I think that I've narrowed down my bridesmaids. My best friend for life Christine, my to-be-sister-in-law Candace, and my best friend Josie. Which now that I look at it works well for the number of guests we are planning on and also the amount of groomsmen my to-be-husband will have.

Still working on who will be the maid of honor... is it typical/possible not to have a maid of honor because the group is so small/it is way to hard to pick one?

Ever since I was old enough to wear heels... I wanted my own pair of Jimmy Choo. It seems as though that day maybe sooner than I ever imagined. I was browsing the internet for ideas for bridesmaids dresses, flower girl dresses, apparel in general... until I came upon the Jimmy Choo Bridal Shoe Collection! I nearly fainted in excitement. I am holding out to see if there are any colourful pumps that catch my eye, in purple or even in blue, that will compete with these beautiful ivory/white/satin bridal shoes.

I am so indecisive about anything so far. My cololur scheme has gone from fall colours (red, brown, orange) to spring colours (pink, green, and white) to my current obsession (all shades of purple lilac and soft pink). I can already tell this wedding planning will be very difficult for me because I wish I could pick everything.

My theme so far is an elegant garden tea party. The venue I love conveys the perfect Victorian Manor setting. I picked these invitations (for the time being) because of their simplicity but elegant design. I always wanted the save-the-date cards to feature engagement pictures of my groom and I. But I am not one hundred percent sold on these save-the-dates.

I think that I have fallen in love with the perfect wedding venue. I have been searching long and hard for a place with a beautiful garden or fountain; as well with a perfect setting for the reception afterwards. I had been considering the Toronto Botanical Gardens but the reception area left a lot to the imagination. I hope that this location that has stolen my heart lives up to my expectations in person.
