My candy/dessert bar
So my wedding reception came and went. It was so beautiful. We decided to have it at our home. I have a really old house. When we moved in we were only able to renovate the inside not the outside. However it is clean. We have an ugly window and porch so I tried to cover it with a 12 ft sweets bar. Nobody even noticed the ugliness of the exterior of our home. They were in awe. Everything was home made by me. The jars and plates were purchased at michaels, ross, home goods, and costco. Enjoy :)

I Do banner
So my hubby and I are having our wedding reception in the backyard of our new home. We have been here 6 months and haven't had a house warming or very many people over. So it was perfect what we were going for. We want something casual but beautiful. Neither one of us is real fancy and with me being a stay at home mommy money is tight. But I am not going to let that stop me from having the best and beautiful backyard wedding we could possibly have. Now onto my banner lol I don't know where I am hanging it yet but I will have plenty of space. I am thinking maybe around the wish tree area. It came out over 6 ft long. I just used cardstock, scrapbook paper, ribbon and some black and white pictures of us. I downloaded a damask font and printed some symbols and added some bling to those as well. I loved the way it came out. What do you guys think? Is it too cheesy.

my candy buffet sign
So I have an odd outlet store up the street from my house. They were selling these pink shabby chic mirrors for $2.00. They were originally from home goods. I painted them white and some black and are using them to display my candy buffet sign as well as my wish tree poem and my food menu display on the caterers table. I covered the mirror with scrapbook paper and bought some really cute easels for $3.99 at ross.
