Hair and Make up trial photos/ change of bridesmaids dress colour

Hi Ladies,

I had my hair and make up trial. I love the hair and make up. I went with the 1920 style but she said my hair needs to get a little bit longer to do it properly, also suggested I die my hair chocolate brown.

It is hard to see the make up from these photos but is purple eyeshaddow and berry coloured lipstick.

Only thing I am a little disapointed about is I really wanted a tiara but the hairdresser said it would look really stupid with this hair style. But there is another flower comb I like.

So I got the colour swatches for the bridesmaids dresses and I don't like any of the purple colours. I orginally wanted pink but I have a bridesmaid with orange hair and my sister refused to wear pink. But I love the fuschia colour for the dresses do you think this can go wth someone with dark orange hair? My sister now loves that colour.

I also have a junior bridesmaid who hates pink but I though if she doesnt what to wear it could also put her in lialac which is a light pink / purple colour.

What do you think?

I think your hair and make up are lovely and I also think..its YOUR wedding...choose your colors based on you..you don't want to look back and regret not having your colors because someone doesn't like it..if they hate it, don't be in the wedding..end of story..as for the orange hair..well you cant make her dye it, so if you don't mind then let her keep it, its going to clash no matter what color dress she wears.. good luck! :)

Pulled off the 1920's hair perfectly ... looks great! As for the dresses, it is nice to compromise on what people feel comfortable in, but if you really love something over another, in the end it is your day :)

Wow, she copied that inspiration pic very well!! I think it's incredible and so original too! Your make up is a little hard to see, but you look super pretty, so it's doing a good job!

As for the colours... hmm touch. I fired my 15 y.o. sister as a bridesmaid at one point because she was complaining about the dress, but in the end, when it was done, she like it. They should be thankful that they are in your wedding. If you really can't find another colour that you like - tough. One thing you could do, is put them in a more neutral colour (light brown, grey, beige etc) and put the pink as a highlight colour (sash, hairpiece, shoes). Just an idea? And sure, fushia can go with an orange-head. :)

Thanks ladies,

I think I have come to a solution with the dressed. We will go with the girls second choice, it comes in a nice voilet colour.

Have any of you got a suggestion for my hair, I love the back and sides but I think it looks funny from the front. Any suggests on what I could do to the front to make it look better.

Had a good day for planning flowers and reception but will post about that when I get home in a few days
