Wedding Shoes - How High is to high?

Hi Ladies,

My other shoes just don't fit no matter how much I break them in. They were bright pink but thinking this time I will go with Silver to match my dress.

I really like these ones and they feel comfy but Im wondering how high is too high to wear all day.

They are 9cm with a 2cm platform so I guess 7cm heel. The shoes I wear to work every day at are 9cm.

What do you think? how high are your shoes? Are you wrried about it hurting being in them all day? Should I also buy so really cheap flats? I have already wasted money on a pair I can't wear so don't want to spend too much money.

Thanks

it depends on what u confortable with but even if you are used to hight heels i would advise to always have flats around specially if theres dancing involved...

I agree with princesni...its all about what makes you feel comfy...and you will eventually want to wear flats because being in heels all day may be overwhelming after so long....

my main issue with high heels is I didnt want to be taller than my groom with really high heels! He says he will still be taller than me even with them on but I dont agree lol! We would be the same height and I want to be shorter than him....actually I am wearing fuchsia flats for ceremony and reception my heels will be worn during photos and when he pulls up my dress for garter!

If you are used to high heels, then I think you'd be just fine, but I would get a pair of flats for the end of the day. Nothing can ruin your day like blisters or sore feet!

Like the other ladies said, it definately depends on your comfort level. Me personally, my heels are 4 in...but I'm only 5'3 compared to my 6'3 fh. I will definately bring some cute comfy flats just in case, but since i'm short, I'll want to feel elongated and tall. I'll def try to wear them as long as i can :)

I'd say the only thing to high are the ballet looking heels. Ouch!! Otherwise a heel is never too high, only too short for me. :)
I know this sounds crazy and I posted it somewhere else, but I buy panty liners and line the shoes with them since they are cheap, padded and already sticky. It helps a TON (unless they are super strappy shoes, then I got nothin)  but I'd say bring flipflops or flats also for dancing if your not used to wearing heels all night.
