Hey Ladies!!
A little less than 6 months to go and I am determined to get sh** done!!!
My FH is a DJ and I'm a school band "geek" so we both have a love for music. We are doing wedding cds as favours along with mini wine bottles. For the cd, we haven't gotten the song list quite down so we're working on the next "music" part of our wedding.....the reception!
Here it goes.....
Introduction of BMs and MOH: Single ladies by Beyonce
Introduction of BM and Groomsmen: I'm too sexy for my shirt by Right Said Fred or "I'm a Flirt" by R.Kelly (haven't decided yet)
Introduction of Parents: I look to you by Whitey Houston or Hero by Mariah Carey
Introduction of Ringbearer & Flower girl (our children who chose this song): Waving Flag by K'naan
Introduction of Newlyweds: TBD
First Dance: Spend My Life by Eric Benet & Tamia
Father/Daughter dance: My Girl by the Temptations
Mother/Son Dance: A Song for Mama by Boyz II Men
Bouquet Toss: Ladies Night by Lil Kim, Angie Martinez, Missy & Left Eye
Garter Toss: Still Not a Player by Big Pun feat Joe
Cake Cutting: Sugar Sugar by the Archies
Opening up the dance floor: TBD
Last Dance: Celebration by Kool & the Gang
Any suggestions for Opening up the dance floor? What are some good songs from introducing the Newlyweds???
We are 80's babies that love that era of music coming up to the late 90's and we don't want a slow song because we're doing our first dance right away. We do intend on using the 20th century fox intro but wanna follow up with an upbeat song......kinda stuck :(
Thanks for your help ladies!
