Well, Finally I can show you guys the pictures from the wedding. It seemed like they took forever to come in. Since it is so many and I want to show most of them I will post them piece by piece. Today I am posting the detail pictures. Enjoy!

This came out better than I expected. I covered a white pillow with teal fabric. Then I make a big red flower using pieces of fake flowers from the dollar store.

Program fans are complete. I am still debating if I want to take the time to put the ribbon on them.

The banner was hand painted and the frames for the table numbers were sprayed gold.

This is for my niece to ring and scream..."The bride is coming"

This took a lot of hard work. I made my fiance try it on to see how it looks..lol.

I really enjoyed myself.

I am so tired of people telling me that their feelings are hurt because they were not invited to my wedding. These are people who are not family members or friends and who do not know my fiance and I personally. These are people who we just say hi and bye too if we see them. I don't understand why they think they should be invited. They don't know our age, how we met, or any of our background info. These are people we never hang out with. These are people who phone numbers we do not have and they do not have ours.

What makes them think they should be invited? Why don't they understand that this is a small wedding with a small budget and everyone can not come. Why do they feel the need to tell me that they are hurt because they were not invited? This puts me in an awkward situation.

Has anyone done this to you? How do you handle it and how does it make you feel?

Just thought I should post some pics of my bridal shower. My sisters did a great job putting it together. The gifts were amazing and some were a little out there. Yes, those purple panties are crouchless (My aunt bought those for me). Lol at the pic of me chewing all that gum because I got almost all the questions wrong about my fiance. My Mom did the food, it was amazing. I had a ball, next is the bachlorette party. I can't wait.

Hey Ladies,

After doing a lot of research I finally found a hairstyle that I love for my wedding day. The best part is, it's soft and looks so elegant. Everyone in the beauty shop loved it and so do I. I can't wait to see how everything looks on my wedding day. I do think I need to pull the veil up a little on the right side, if falls a little too long.

What do you guys think? Love it or Hate it?

It has been awhile since I have had a chance to post or comment. As I get closer to the date it seems like I have more things to do. Well, I finally finished another DIY probject which is the card holder. I chose a bircage since the wedding is a peacock theme. To the top of the cage I added a peacock bird, a black bow, and some peacock feathers. I think it came out great.

I purchased the cage for 18.99. The small cage was included. I think I am going to place the small cage by either the cake or the guestbook.

I just thought I should post how my bridesmaids will look on my big day. I will be getting married outside at a garden gazebo so I thought it was appropriate for the bridesmaids to wear short dresses. I wanted them to wear black because I know they could wear that little black dress to a different event plus black is slimming. I wanted to incorporate color in their attire so that's where the red shoes came to play. I know they can wear those red leather pumps again with some skinny jeans.

All the bridesmaids have the same accessories but different short black dresses. I made the pearl necklaces for all the females helping with the wedding. That may have cost me about $2 each or less. The bracelet set was $4 each (only for the bridesmaids). The earrings which are not on her were a splurge $7 each (only for the bridesmaids). With this look they will carry a bouquet of red roses.

How does she look? This is my sister by the way. She is also my maid of honor. Doesn't she look good? You can't even tell she will be 30 this May.

I am finally done. Well almost. I have one complete invitation done. I just need to finish priting the RSVP's, stuff them into envelopes, then mail them 8 weeks before the wedding. I just thought I should post how it looks. Some of you brides took such good pictures of your invitations and I can't seem to take a good photo. Anyway, here it is! What do you think?

Well I have finally started and finished my birdcage veil. It was not as hard as I thought. I am thinking of adding a flower on the side. This project cost me a total of $9. What do you think? Should I add a flower?

PLEASE DO NOT LOOK OVER THIS POST

I really need your help. I can only offer my guest two options to choose from as their entree for the reception dinner option. What should the two options be?

1. Baked Salmon with lemon cream sauce
2. Sliced Roast Beef with mushroom sauce
3. Twin Pork Tenderloin Medallions with cider cream
4. Marinated Grilled Chicken Breast with mushroom scallion sauce

Oh, I do not eat pork or beef so the salmon or chicken would have to be one of the options. Each option would be served with califonia medley, salad, and either roasted potatoes or rice pilaf.

I am on a roll. I finally finished my guestbook box. I love the look of it. I will have to say that this project cost me about $20. It would have been less if I did not keep forgeting my coupon for Michaels everytime I went there.

Today is my honey and I 7th year anniversary. I can not believe it has been seven years. What a transformation. Check out the pic. On the left is our pic from when we first began to date (in high school). The second pic is our engagement pic. What a difference seven years make. I love my sweetie and plan on spending the rest of our years together. I can't wait until our wedding date.

I am sitting here counting down to watch the red carpet for the 67th golden globes today. I am hoping to get inspired with my wedding day look. I really hope I find something.

I am so happy that you guys voted on which shoes I should order. I ordered the shoes in jade and I love them. They look way better than the blue shoes I ordered at first. I am so happy with my decision. What would I do without you girls.

So awhile ago I posted about some wedding shoes that I found and fell in love with (shoe 1). I ordered them and once I got them they were faded. It had many spots where the shoe was discolored. So I returned those (too bad I lost out on shipping money). I tried to exchange the shoe but they were all sold out. I found these same shoes on another website for more money. I am wondering if I should order the same shoe or go with shoe #2.

My second diy project is done. My honey and I finally took engagement pictures so we could send off our save the dates. We went green with these std's...lol. We opted for free save the dates, no money spent to send these off. These were created in Outlook Express. We tried to use Microsoft Outlook but it kept sending the picture as an attachment instead of being in the body of the email. I have finally finished my first diy project. Here it is....the broom my honey and I will jump over. The broom is complete with black satin ribbon, 4 red roses, faux peacock feathers, and pearl stick pins. I feel like a pround parent. I am offically a DIY-er. Oh, sorry the picture is not clear.

Finally, my future hubby and I took our engagement photos. What I am posting are the sample photos. I have not received the photos without his copyright on them yet. At first, I did not like the pics but they are growing on me. I guess I did not like them because I am used to us having stiff poses in our photos. Photo 1 is the picture we will be using for our save-the-dates. What do you think?

I found the song that we will have our first dance to but I am having some difficulty finding a song to walk down the aisle to. Any suggestions?

So, my fiance and I meet with a dj who seemed to be really cool. By cool, I mean our personalities matched. But, when I asked him his policy on alcohol he turned me off because he said he might have a drink at the wedding. To me, this does not seem professional. It's a wedding not a club. My fiance seems to be ok with it. Maybe I'm just being a little uptight. How do you feel about your dj drinking at your wedding?

People have asked me if I was getting a videographer and when I respond no, they seemed shocked. To me, a videographer does not seem that important because I will have a bunch of pictures to show off the wedding. Also, I will probably never watch the video. I don't know. Will I regret not having one? Do you think it's a good idea to have a videogroaher? Also, I am not sure if I will have room in my budget but I can possibly scale down some things to make room.

I finally found my bridesmaid dresses. They will be wearing a little black dress from white house black market. These dresses are perfect because they can wear them again. They love their dresses. My oldest sister is a bit fuller at the bottlm so if she can not fit dress 1 she will be wearing dress 3. All they have to do now is order them. I can't wait.
