New cake ideas

My groom has decided he wants to get a a really nice cake that taste really good. I cant much blame him after tasting at the bridal show...lol So we are going to use the best in our area. Marteens. She makes beautiful cakes and they taste amazing!!! melt in your mouth good!!

I go to see my cake decorator on Friday. Here are some new ideas I taking with me. No telling what I'll actually come up with when I get there. I would love to merge these two cakes.

That's very pretty. The bottom is so unique. A simple topper would look great. Nothing over the top to take away from the beauty of the cake.

If your cake decorator can do this one i would go for it. This is very pretty. It would also look great at your venue.

I don't think so. I like the sheen of real ribbon. I'll have to wait and see this Friday when I meet with my cake lady. I know you can do fondant in any color and a good cake decorator can make it look like real ribbon.
