DIY Wedding
Hair piece, jewelry and card box...
Here are the DIY's that I've been meaning to post for a while.
My jewelry was made with pink pearls, my hair piece was inspired by one I seen on etsy (the seller took too long to respond so I went and made my own....and now I'm glad I did!) and the card box....me and my FH spent an evening last week making it. |

I'm doing my own makeup and would like a few opinions on if I should go with this look or how I could change it. I need a new camera...they're not the best pictures, but you get the point, lol.

Final Decisions!
Dress:
Maggie Sottero - Dallas Marie Diamond White with Rose Ribbon Jewelry: I'm making my own! I'll post a picture when I finish the necklace. I already made the earrings (which are light pink dangling single pearls with rhinestone accents) and my bracelet (which includes the same light pink pearls, two strands, with rhinestone accents). The necklace will have the light pink pearls, clear swarovski crystals, and a rhinestone drop. Headpiece: I also made my own headpiece! I sewed together white, ivory and pink silk petals, added some lace, one silver leaf, pearls and petals made with russion netting. I'm almost finished, all I need to do is add some white feathers. Hairstyle / updo: I'm having it colored a very dark chocolate brown, and I'm wearing my hair up with a little volume on top and lots of pinned up curls in the back. I'm still deciding if I'll have my bangs down and finger waved, or up in a pomp style. My trial is in a couple of weeks so I guess I'll decide then. Centerpieces: Pink dahlias, green button (kermit) mums, mini sunflowers, cala lilies, bear grass and white ostrich feathers. Bouquets: The same as above but add orange gerbera daisies and pink roses instead of the dahlias. The bridesmaid bouquets won't have feathers. Photography: Outdoor in gardens with gorgeous architecture in the background and black wrought iron fences. Boutonnieres: green button mums, bear grass and metal silver leaves. Bridesmaids and Tuxes: The girls will be wearing dresses from Alfred Angelo in Clover, and the guys will be wearing black suits with sage/clover vests and ties. Cupcakes: Vanilla (green icing with white flowers) and Raspberry flavored (pink icing with white flowers). Clutch: Bought it off etsy and it matches perfectly! Pink with pearls, feathers and russian netting. So pretty! Shoes: Coloriffics 'Tori' 2 1/2 inch heel in white with rhinestone detail. |
