Save the Dates

So i had an idea to make my save the dates in to Boarding Passes...since i am having a Destination wedding i thought it would fit perfectly, i brought the idea to Gaby (GTModerncreations.com) and he went above and beyond what i expected... when he said "i would like to make them 3D" i looked at him like he was insane! lol
but as soon as he showed me the end product i was Amazed! they were absolutely gorgeous!!! i put on the 3D glasses and i swear i thought the limes were going to roll right off the page! lol i have never seen anything like this and my guest agreed... i kept getting phone calls and emails on how orignal and unique the were. Yay! The boarding pass pockets were printed on silk paper, and the boarding passes were printed on shimmery green linen paper. The result was beautiful and fun. Proudest DIY Project Yet!!!
Ok ladies so I have to share this!!!! I am just so proud of the DIY Project!
So here is the story, I wanted my wedding shoes to 1.) wow everyone and 2.) Pop out in my wedding pictures, so I started web surfing and fell in love with these Purple glitter Christian Louboutin Peeptoe pumps only problem was they were $300.00!!!!! i am on a strict budget so I had to figure something out . So I decided to make my own shoes, I went to Amazon.com order fabric glue ($3.00) purple glitter ($8.00) and then went to my local thrift store yes thrift store and found the cutest peep-toe shoes ($7.00) I put it all together and this is the end result this is EXACTLY what I wanted!!! I went from almost spending $300.00 on a pair of shoes to spending $18.00 and to be completely honest with you mine are 100% better! Tell me what you think. ? |

Wedding Planner
So my wedding planner is also my soon to be sister-in-law :-) she is a Nurse, she recent got married in PR 2009 and realized how much she really loved to plan weddings, i would love to take the credit for all for theses great ideas but i had nothing to do with it lol it was all her!!

on a budget?
Tip:go to a bridal store that has a lowest price guaranteed policy...
my bridemaids dresses were $225 a piece, i got the style number and searched online....i found both dresses for $80.00 i printed out the website page and showed it to the store and bada bing, bada boom i saved my girls $145.00 lol happy shopping ladies! both dresses will be Purple also just a weee bit shorter! i like bridemaids to feel Young and Sexy!! lol |
