DIY Wedding
Proudest DIY Project Yet!!!

Ok ladies so I have to share this!!!! I am just so proud of the DIY Project!

So here is the story, I wanted my wedding shoes to 1.) wow everyone and 2.) Pop out in my wedding pictures, so I started web surfing and fell in love with these Purple glitter Christian Louboutin Peeptoe pumps only problem was they were $300.00!!!!! i am on a strict budget so I had to figure something out….

So I decided to make my own shoes, I went to Amazon.com order fabric glue ($3.00) purple glitter ($8.00) and then went to my local thrift store…yes thrift store and found the cutest peep-toe shoes ($7.00) I put it all together and this is the end result… this is EXACTLY what I wanted!!!

I went from almost spending $300.00 on a pair of shoes to spending $18.00 and to be completely honest with you mine are 100% better!

i am actually working on a tutorial today so i can show how fast and easy this is to make. it took me all of 5 minutes to make this shoe!!! ;-) i am soo happy everyone loves them!

They are beautiful. I want to diy my shoes also but I'm not sure if I want to do the glitter or if I want to do rhinestones (since the glitter is less time consuming I'm kinda leaning more that way)

OK so these are actually AMAZING and exactly what I wanted as well :) My only problem is I'm in a cast (tore the ligaments in my ankle) so will not be able to wear hot heels on my wedding day :(  I wanted to do this with a pair of flats, but wanted to ask you HOW did you actually get the glitter on the shoe? Just like roll it in it? (Excuse my ignorance) lol

That's such a great idea! Thank you so much for sharing.  I want to do something very similar, just in a different colour.  I just showed this to my fiance, super excited and he gave me a fake excited girl scream! I guess I can't expect him to be excited about glittery shoes ;)
