NWR: NB FLOOD
flood 2 weeks before christmas
On Monday December 13th 180mm ++ of rain fell in South Western New Brunswick. which caused rivers and lakes to flood. 100's of people are without homes. and other stranded becuase flood waters cut off all roads. only way in and out are boats. Attached are some links to our distaster 2 weeks before christmas.

How long did you date before you got engaged?
4 years Did you get the ring you wanted? that I did! i dropped a couple hints on what I liked and didnt like Was the proposal a complete surprise? he left the bag with the ring cleaner on the counter! im not stupid. he wouldnt just go and buy ring cleaner! Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? If so How big or small? somedays I wish it was bigger, but i know they this one is the perfect sizze for me! Did you cry when he proposed? No, I am not much of a crier! Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain. it was neither romantic or Creative! haha When do you want to go for your honeymoon? we plan on just doing a get away weekend, as we have young kids Are you buying his wedding band for him? well sorta! your bank account is the same! Have you gone over your original wedding budget? we dont actually have a budget becuase they family is doing a lot. What day of the year will your wedding be? Saturday July 2, 2011 What kind of weather? I would love for it to be super nice! but with our summers you can expect rain! Inside or outside? Inside for the ceremony, outside for pictures. Church/justice of the peace/other? Church How many people will be there? I would love to keep it under 100.. but it is not ideal becuase we are close to our families... its going to be 130- 140 ppl Time of day? 4pm Any kind of theme? simple, orange and purple How many on each side of the wedding party? Who are they? 5 on each side Matron of honour - my best friend Bridesmaid 1 - close friend Bridesmaid 2 - close friend Bridesmaid 3 - my sister Bridesmaid 4 - close friend Best Man - FH's childhood bestfriend Groomsman 1 - another one of my FH's bestfriends from childhood. Groomsman 2 - his brother Groomsman 3 - childhood friend Groomsman 4- childhood friend What kind of cake/what will it look like? 4 or 5 teirs of white round cake, with dark orange circle design, and purple ribbon ( see post) Where will the reception be? the Legion in my town, not very many options! What kind of dress? strapless, white, lace, with train. LOVE IT What kind of flowers in your bouquet? undecided between roses or daisies or roses! Kind of engagement ring? White Gold, princess cut with 4 little stones on each side Kind of wedding bands? Mine will be white gold with diamonds that go about half way around the band. He wants a tititainum (sp) How did you wear your hair? down long and curly! Who will be important to be there? family and very close friends Will the reception be big or small? medium (140 ppl) What will the groom wear? a tux with a white tie and vest How long is the honeymoon? undecided What will you do? Relax and try not to burn to a crisp! Will it be modest or costly? The honeymoon? I'd say modest. What will you stay in? a hotel! How old will you and the groom be? ill be 21 and he will be 25 the next week How long will you be engaged before you got married? almost 2 yrs. Live together before or wait till married? we live together and have children ( i know we did it backwards) Take a long time to plan the wedding or will it be simple? simple. we took so long to get married after the engagement because of a pregancy. Will you do it yourself or with family or hire someone to plan the wedding? By myself (and with the help of my mom and maids, of course!). we are getting a friend to help decorate the hall! Will you write your own vows or use something pre-made? Definitely will be using pre-made ones. we are hoping to have some options though |
