I am so excited! We secured our date and location for our wedding yesterday. It is a local place in the down town area. It looks like an old warehouse and in fact it used to be a bean company. It has a ton of parking and the inside is great!! I would definetly recommend it for anybody in the area.
Big wooden pillars, concreat floor that has been stained terra cotta color, a lounge area with nice new modern couches, two contemparary waterfalls, a bar, lighting system, tables, chairs, linens, stereo system, they offer catering, we get it for the entire day, from 7am to 12:30 the next morning...I mean this place has it all! It also has a lounge area upstairs and a room for getting ready in and we can decorate it any way we want.
All of this for only $500.00. I am in love with it! The owner is great and so very friendly! He totally understands that most of his clients are people on a budget.
It only took Jacob and me only a day to decide this was definatly the place we wanted to do it. And with some influence from my family we decided that 10.01.11 is a fun date. It is also my brother's birthday...I ensured him that he would get an extra big piece of cake. :)
