I have a lt gold Maggie Sottero dress. You would have to look past the champagne lace but I think it's a pretty color.  I could send you a pic of a close up of my dress, but just try and look past the lace and beading.

you look gorgeous in it! and honestly, no need to worry about it not being the traditional white. this is YOUR wedding, go with what you want. if you're in love with it, thats what matters. and honestly, it doesn't scream gold to me and i can tell you're a bride. it seems like it's more of a cream. love it!

Hi Olivia! Yes I am wearing a 4 hoop skirt...I thought that without a hoop it looked a bit limp, I hope it is not too big though!!

Hi there I'm new on this web sight to and u look stunning in the victoriana dress I wondered how many hoops your waring under your dress as ive bought the dress to and I want it fuller like yours is and the lady only put two hoop under and it doesn't feel big enough would be greatfull for your advise as you look fuller in your dress than I do in mine !??

hi...this dress is gorgeous! im having it too, also in the light gold. but im having a dilemma about the flower girls (ages 2 and 4)... i was going to have them in little ivory dresses before i fell in love with the light gold, so now they won't "match". Any ideas? thanks

Hey ladies! How are you all doing? Sorry I have not been on to update you all on how everything went with the wedding. Unfortunately soon after my wedding, my father suddenly passed away, so as you can all imagine, I have been a bit out of it lately.

On a happier note, the wedding was amazing and better than I could have dreamed! The dress was stunning, and I posted some pictures so you can all see! I am so happy my father was able to see it, and be there to walk me down the aisle and dance with me.

I remember being nervous about going with the dress, and now I am so0o0o happy that I picked it, it was the perfect dress. But if anybody is in the same boat I was, and has any questions please feel free to ask, I will try to be around more now. Take care everyone!

Hi Suzielittle2b! I think ivory would still be fine because the dress looks more like a shade of ivory then gold anyway. I had all of my girls wear red, including the flower girl. I found the greatest dresses at Alfred Angelo that really worked out and the flower girl dress came in the same color as the bridesmaids. They all carried ivory roses and I had red ones and it looked really good. I will put a picture up with the girls so you can see. Good luck!

You look gorgeous in your dress!  I have a question about your slip...you mentioned it was 4 hoop...was it hard to sit down or uncomfortable at all?  Too Big?

Hello Linda! Thank you so much for your comment! The slip was actually very comfortable. I was afraid when I sat down it would flip over my head haha! But it was fine and actually sat very nicely. The only two problems I had were that I couldn't sit in seats with arms on them because it was too big for that so make sure you don't have an arm chair at your dinner table. Also, I didn't mean to, but with all the stress leading up to the wedding I lost some weight and the slip kept slipping down throughout the day which made it hard to dance, so make sure the slip fits!! Other than that, I am so0o0oo happy I went with a big slip because it made the dress look amazing and really showed off the amazing details! Hope this helped, good luck!!
