This is mommato3nc's Purple Wedding!

Right before Christmas of 2008 Timmy said he had to go get me a Christmas present and that he would be back later. Never told me where he was going or what he was getting. He was gone for 3 hours. When he came back he said "I couldn't decide on which one I wanted to get you but I hope you love it." he then proceeded towards me and got down on one knee (while I was sitting on our couch feeding our baby girl who was a year and a half old) and pulled out the ticket for me to hold and said "I love you more than anything or anyone, other than our babies, in the world and there is nothing I wouldn't do for you. It will be a few weeks before it comes in since I had to have it sent off to be sized for you, but Will you marry me?" I balled my eyes out and said "are you sure this is what you want?" He then said "of course I do I love you and can't picture my life w/out you in it." and of course we all know what I said then "YES" and we kissed and I got on the phone and called all my girlfriends and told them LOL.

I decided I wanted Calla Lilies b/c I think they are very beautiful and to be honest w/ the people in Ayden (or most of them anyways LOL) they have no taste at all. I love being different and nobody that I'm aware of has ever used calla lilies in their wedding. My bouquet will be all wine colored calla lilies and my bridal parties bouquets are all white calla lilies. The boutonnieres are all white. My future husband Timmy has 4 mini calla lilies in his boutonnier and his attendants have only 3 mini calla lilies. The bouquets and boutonnieres are all wrapped in chocolate brown ribbons. I don't have pics of my bouquets yet b/c my friend isn't finished w/ them yet.

This is what 2 of the dresses look like and all the shoes (but mine) look alike. We bought these at Sears for $42 each and the shoes were $20 at Sears too. I decided to go to Sears b/c I wanted my ladies to be able to wear their dresses again like out to eat, to a funeral, to another wedding, for family pics or something like that. The color is plum. We are contrasting the purple in our wedding.

This is the wedding dress I chose as well as the shoes, veil, and tiara. Bought all at David's Bridal. I made the collage so it would all be together for when I do my scrapbook as well as my wedding photo album

Instead of doing the traditional unity candle we went with a sand ceremony unity set instead. We ordered these from www.orientaltrading.com as well. The sand colors will be brown and lavender.

We ordered this cake topper from www.rexcraft.com and had the names done in purple
