Head Table Decor
I havent been much into wedding stuff these day--I'm not sure why but I started looking at everything I need and have for the wedding and realized that I dont have NO ideas for the Head Table Decor...... that totally slipped my mind. Humm?? So I started looking online for some ideas and found somepictures of what I think I might want to do.....
![]() I really love the last one--I think I'm going to do that--at least for the flowers on the table--and maybe do the lights for an added touch--however I'm not 100% sure!! So what are you ladies doing for your head table? |

Kissing Ball--Love this idea!! wreaths_005 I have some sites--but none say what the wreath actually sits on---most just use wire and on these they are pretty thick--I wonder what it is??? These are examples of the wands I loved! This will be another DIY project An alternative to the kissing ball--still not sure which one I want! |
Flower Girls
No basket then what?
Flower Girls. My newest problem! Ok so the church we are having our ceremony at does not allow fake or fresh flowers to be thrown by the flower girls--for whatever reason. So my issue is what should I give my flower girl instead of the basket. My FMIL said "let her walk with the basket" but I think she'll just be tempted to throw the flowers. Then I thought why not give her a kissing ball?? I love that idea--but my sister (whos WAY more creative then me) thought it be cute to make her a wand (since she already thinks shes the princess) and I LOVED that idea too!! But I'm undecided.....what are you giving your flower girl? I love both these ideas---I've already started the wand--but I think I like the kissing ball better!! Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!!! Another problem I am having is deciding what to do for their hair! My sister thinks I should make them wreaths (or whatever they are called) however Im stuckI love the idea. One of my bridesmaids suggested that I have them just wear a few flowers in their hair but not the whole wreath.
So my question is: What are you doing for your flower girls .kissing ball or wand? Wreath? Id love to hear some ideas! ![]() By The Way: Since I want to make both these myself (more DIY projects) I started looking for sites to helpand this is what Ive come up with! These sites shows you how to make a wreaths http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Floral-Headdress & http://www.ehow.com/how_2083324_make-flower-girl-headpiece.html?ref=fuel&utm_source=yahoo&utm_medium=ssp&utm_campaign=yssp_art This Site offers cute alternatives for flower girls http://www.bhg.com/crafts/weddings/bridal-party/flower-girl-accessories/?page=1 This site has the wands already made: http://www.weddingbunchesandblooms.com.au/html/flower_girl_page_boy. html |

Wedding Cake
Cake Topper=Fully Crystal Monogram
So I found a new DIY project--that is if I can find the perfect materials.
So we were talking today about the cake and the cake topper came up. My FH is dead set on having our inital on top--and since I ? that idea I decided to try and make it since I have such a long time till the wedding I think I can knock it out...because the ones I've seen are great looking but the style of the letter I dont really like--so I will just have to create my own. But after reading fabulousmrsklein's blog about her cake topper--now I'm not so sure. But I am going to try and if all else fails I will just have to buy them already made. So the hunt is one for the perfect letter as well as the pink crystals to put on it. Here are some pictures that inspired me (side from fabulousmrsklein's blog). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I found these pictures on: www.weddingcuts.com & www.topperswithglitz.com/ Wish me luck?? |

Shopping!
I ♥ shopping wholesale--saves you $$$
So yesterday I went down to LA and bought everything I needed (at whole sale prices) and I spent about $200 on almost everything I needed.
What I bought: ?Tulle--enough for the church (pews and bows), reception (decorate the stars leading up to the reception site) ![]() ?Vases and other items needed for my centerpieces (except the flowers) After a whole day shopping in LA I am super excited and only wish the wedding was closer....but until then I have alot of little projects to get my through the year (hopefully) **The pictures are not the acutal pictures of what I bought--just replicas--will post real pictures later--these are jus too give an idea!! |
