Hard to Stay Focused
I haven't been doing anything wedding-related lately. I don't know why but I just haven't been into planning. I know there's tons of stuff to do, but I really don't feel like doing it. I think I'm burned out.

Everywhere I Look It's Babies, Babies, Babies!
Everytime time I turn on the TV, get on the internet, walk down the hall in my apartment building, go out to eat, etc. I see babies or pregnant women and it's really getting to me. Both me and my FH want kids really, really bad. We wanted to start almost a year ago, but decided to wait so that I could finish school. Now, were only a couple days more than 6 months from our wedding so we absolutely cannot get pregnant now (I will be huge!) and it seems like they're just trying to taunt me.
I can't stand all those women who have that baby bump simply because they are pregnant. I want that!!! I can't wait to be a mom! Even my FH will see a pregnant woman and say "look baby, that will be you soon!" He wants the days to go by just as fast as I do so we can get finally get pregnant and start the 9 month waiting game! Are any of you ladies going through the same thing? |

I Miss Him So Much
I hate this. My FH left to go back to where we grew up so that he could see his friends. It's Friday night now, and he wont be back until late Sunday night. Maybe I'm being too much of a wuss, but I can't seem to get myself to fall asleep. I feel really weird right now. As I might have mentioned before, we live together and have since early August, and this is one of only a couple nights we've spent apart since then.
I really hate this. Tonight has been the most lonely night of my entire life! I guess nights like this make you see who you can't live the rest of your life without. I know everytime something like this happens that without a dobut he's the one for me. I can't live without him! I feel asleep about 2:30am and woke back up at 3:30am, fell back asleep at 4:30am and had to get up at 5:30am to be on time for work at 6:00am. I can't do another night of this!!!!! I have a school and an interview for an internship Monday! |

Where the Hell Did That Come From????
FH Unexpected Opinion
My mom came up with the idea of using pillars to set flowers on around the ceremony/reception room. We aren't allowed to attach anything to the walls or ceiling, so we esentially have to come up with a way to add subtle decorative touches. Hence the pillars. We looked for prices and found out that it was going to be EXTREMELY expensive. So we decided to make it a DIY project. (once we finish then, i will post how-tos with pictures).
So anyway, my FH and I went to a home improvement store to price out the materials cost. He really hadn't paid much attention to me when I explained the whole thing before, because when I started looking at the wood I was going to be using he threw a fit! He said they were going to look unfinished (even after we painted them) and cheapen the look of our wedding. I tried to explain it a little more what it would look like and he wouldn't budge. He actually got pissed to the point we started arguing. He told me the only way he would allow the pillars to be part of our wedding is if they were made to look more finished. Which in his way of thinking means detailing the corners with a step router bit, rounding off the corners of the top and bottom pieces and adding molding to the bottom edge of the top piece. Wow! So we looked at the router bits and router, yeah NOT happening! The router was minimum $70 and the bit was $30. The router alone was more than the whole project was budgeted to be. So I said no, but he could do it if he could find a friend with a router and a similar bit to the one he wanted. He compromised: crisis averted! |

My FH had an ortho appointment this morning and had to leave at 5:30 am in order to make his 9:20 appointment 3 hours away. (Long story made short= his braces are completely paid for but the doctor he was going to when he got them is back where we used to live. Everytime he has an appointment he has to go back to the same doctor cuz he doesn't have any offices near us.) So I got up with him and went to the gym. It was early but I almost prefer going in the morning because I still have my whole day ahead of me.
Anyways, my routine was as follows: 20 minutes on elliptical (200 calories burned, 1.85 miles) stretched leg extensions hamstring extensions calf stretches bench inclined bench seated row situps side crunches and when i weighed in.....wait for it.....130.0 and on my period!!!!! |

what should I be doing???
It's a little over 6 months until the wedding, and for some reason I can't seem to think of what needs to be done. I have a DJ, photographer, officiant, reception and ceremony location, invitations printed and stuffed, save the dates done and stamped, wedding dress, picked out bridesmaids dresses shoes and accessories, menu picked out, cake ordered, centerpieces decided, rings bought, hair decided, all music done, and probably more that's not coming to my mind right now.
