This is mrsawilliams's Green Wedding!

It's coming together! We just looked at suits/tux for the groomsmen. Depending on the colors in the tie, we will have this color or green boutonnieres. Nothing is set in stone, but this looks like the way we are going. I'll keep you posted and will be adding more pictures in the coming days.

We have not found a DJ yet or the Band or Harpist that will play
when I walk down the aisle and during cocktails. Anyway, we
were just playing around on this site and downloaded a few songs
that will be played during the night.

Stevie Wonder Overjoyed is the song we selected for our 1st dance!
We recently saw Stevie Wonder when he came to DC back in October.
When he performed this song live....I knew this was hit!

Wish us luck on finding the DJ and Band Harpist. I want to have
someone booked by the 1st of June.

When I first started this blog, Jerel and I had over 500 days to go. Suprisingly, the time is really starting to fly. We took this picture on April 25th, one year to our wedding date!

I am offically acting like a Bridezella...depending on the situation.
Today, I still have not finalized my wedding party-Jerel has (he had it easy). I've got folks on the fence!

So far I only have four maids and Jerel has 7 groomsmen. He may just have to cut people...who cares it my day. I will keep you guys posted in the situation.

My wedding dress is a Vera Wang and now so are the inviation. The boutique where I purchase my dress gives you a discount if you have purchased other Vera Wang items.

These are the invitations I ordered! We are changing the font; however the color will be the same.

Sparklers are spectacular and truly make
the wedding celebration an enchanted evening!

We will be using 36 inch sparklers. Its 4 minute "sparkle" allowing us enough time for our guests to line up and light their sparklers as we leave the reception.

I so love this jacket....in pink or green! My wedding isn't till 5:30pm so this Hoodie will be great to wear while my makeup and hair are being done.

Kellie's pictures are amazing! I can't wait to work with her and the team. Each photo tells a story of your special day! I would have loved to place a picture here showing her work, however, I am sure you need permission to do so. Nevertheless, her website speaks for its self. Google her! Just wanted to add a picture of 1 of our flower girls. This picture was taken with her God Father Jerel during her 3rd birthday party in January.

I had this color pattern on my page earlier and wasn't sure if I was a fan. Some how, I keep coming back to it. I would use these colors for the flowers, such as the picture below.

I love this idea! I didn't want the table center pieces to be high. This way our guests have the chance to speak to each other without having to look over a tall flowers in the middle of the table. After the wedding if our guest want to take them home. they can!

The other main attraction besides for me! These dresses are so flipping cute and our little flower girls are going to steal the spotlight!

The new dress I pick for the girls! Okay so it's a Vera Wang dress. This color flows nicely with the flowers. I've changed these dresses 3 times. Hopefully, this will be the final selection.

I work retail and holidays are the busiest!! On this day Sunday Dec. 30, 2007 I took the day off. So we needed to run a couple of errands, which included getting my nails done (thank god, becasue you guys would have just seen a picture of my nuckles and the ring!). I was sick of running and driving around and ask Mr. Man to take me home because I wanted to eat some sushi and take a nap. All day he was acting really funny and again I didn't pay him any mind, because "I" was sleepy! He let me take my nap. A few hours later he called my name and ask could I come downstairs to help him get something out of his truck. No problem....but when I opened the bedroom door and looked down the stairs, he had the steps lit with tea candles and rose paddles. At the bottom of the stairs there he was. I was thinking he cooked me dinner because I had been all streesed out about working my 1st holiday as a store mgr. Nope!! Then I saw him get down on one knee and started to cry....will you marry me?
Of course I SAID YES!!!!!! I was overjoyed, elated and speechless!!!! HE DID GOOD!!!!!!!!!

The picture shows me texting my family and friends. No he didn't cook dinner :)

Jo Malone candles are amazing!! These will make great wedding favors for the guest and a little extra something for the wedding party!

I love strawberry short cake, is it selfish of me to choose the type of cake that I like? Maybe I should do two cakes!

So I've added a few more cakes. We've got so much time before this wedding...I have change the colors so many times....nevertheless, a hit of green will be there. The new MAIN color is "Cafe", goldish (is that a word)-brown. One of the cakes pictures has this color.

I GOT MY DRESS! It's not this one! I didn't want to post it becasue Mr. J Will looks at my site from time to time. What I can tell you is...It's a Vera Wang bias sheath with deep V-neck and gathered English net cross-cross bodice in the color ivory. Very fitted as the picture to the left.

We had to change the venue! It's cool! The Fearrington is a really cute Barn House and this is what it looks like inside. Picture 3 is the lawn area in which we want to have the ceremony. Did I tell you that this place is also an old Dairy Farm?! I've added pictures of the Belted Cows and Goats. Really nice for the kids! This place has it all, plus The Knot has The Fearrington as one of the best places to get married.

I bet these are going to be expensive! I can pretty much use any flowers using a variety of oranges and greens with a hint of pink and yellow....the wedding is in the spring, so maybe something bold.
