Big Day
OHMYGOSH....3 DAYS!!!
WOW!!!! I cannot believe that I am getting married on Saturday!!! It really has snuck up on me. I have been so busy that I haven't even had time to get on here in forever!! So sorry about that.
So here is what I still have left to do in the next 3 days: -finish fan programs -get seating chart made at Staples -touch base with florist, DJ, and photographer -purchase my parents' gift -purchase flower girl/ring bearer gifts -purchase grandparents' gifts -pack for my honeymoon -move into our house!!! -finish slideshow and I'm sure that I'm forgetting something but oh well!!! Can't wait to post pictures of my big day!!! |

Wedding Day
OHMYGOSH!!!!!
When I signed on today and saw that I only have 29 days until my wedding it blew me away!!! I knew yesterday marked the one month countdown, but to see the actual number of days makes it really sink in. I cannot believe how quickly the last year has flown by!! I know that it is going to be here before I know it!!
I haven't been on lately b/c a lot has been going on, so to let me fill you in on some exciting news....We bought a house!!! It is a 3 bedroom 2 bath home on 2.5 acres. It already has a horse barn which is wonderful since my FH breaks horses for people. We have been extremely busy painting, cleaning, putting things away, etc. I will put up more pictures of all the changes soon. I told my mom that I feel like I'm playing house!! lol It's so exciting. I keep saying that it doesn't seem like I'm old enough to be getting married and owning a home!! My friends keep reminding that I am 24 years old. Life really is perfect right now!!! I hope you are all doing as well as I am. |

So I started working on creating a timeline for the weekend of the wedding. I never realized how much work it would be to create it!! Has anyone else created a timeline yet for their big day?

Wedding Invitation
Woo-hoo invitations are out!!
This weekend we mailed out the invitations!!! It is sooo exciting to have this task done. It really makes everything seem real. I can't wait to start getting back the RSVP's!!!
We have our first shower this Saturday on Valentine's Day. We close on our house next week too!! Everything is just falling into place! I can't wait!! It is so hard to believe that we only have 53 days!!! yippee!!! |

Stress
NWR: And the flood waters begin....literally!!
So as most of you know we are in the process of purchasing our first home. The appraiser went out today and when he got there, they were greeted by water rushing out the door when they opened it!! Evidently a pipe under the sink busted and flooded the house!! Thankfully the people whom we are buying the house from are going to work on it all weekend and have all the baseboards and carpet replaced. So while I'm bummed that my house got flooded, at least I'll have new carpet!!!
Our closing date got pushed back to Feb. 15th so I will be thrilled once that day gets here! One more thing to cross off my list! |

Bridesmaids
I want to get these for my girls!!
I think these are the cutest personalized wine glasses! I found them in a EBay store. I think they would be perfect to go along with my gift to my BMs. We can drink our mimosa out of them while we are getting our hair and make up done!! (which means I will HAVE to get myself one! hehee) I'm just waiting to get a price quote back from the seller.
I wish I was creative enough to make these! If her prices are too high, does anyone have any suggestions of where I could find something similar?? |

so little time...so many things to do!
Wow...I have less then 3 months...80 days!! I cannot believe it!! So I decided to make a list of things that still need to done or at least completed. Please let me know if you can think of anything I have forgotten!!
(these are listed in no specific order...just as I think of them) 1. Address Invitations- need to mail out beginning of Feb. 2. Assemble Invitations 3.Create Fan Programs 4. Find soundtrack for song that will be sung during Unity Sand 5. Purchase Unity Sand Materials 6. Order mints for favors 7. Make favors- print out tags, purchase ribbon 8. Meet with baker 9. Put deposit down on florist 10. finish gifts for bridal party 11. purchase parent gifts 12. create timeline for the Big Day! 13. Schedule final dress fitting 14. Decide on jewelry 15. Hair trial 16. Book liquor company 17. Decide on videographer 18. Finish music list for DJ 19. Purchase wedding bands 20. Book plane tickets (if the price ever goes down!!) 21. Make sure guys have ordered tuxes 22. Decide what I'm wearing under my dress 23. Pre-marital counseling 24. plan bridesmaid luncheon 25. purchase marriage license 26. Create seating chart 27. create slide show I know I'm probably forgetting about 100 things!! Can you girls think of anything??? |
