Is this a reasonable price for flowers??

****UPDATE: So this is a great deal I have found out!! I went to another florist in town and they gave me a quote that was double what this one was!! Needless to say we put down a deposit with the original lady!**

So I got my proposal from the first florist I met with and I wanted yall's opinion on how reasonable it is.

To start off with, we are doing all gerbera daisies- pink and orange

The total cost was $552. I will try (I don't have the list with me) and break down each cost for you here:

my bouquet: $75
Toss bouquet: free
MOH: $40
5 Bridesmaids: $25 each= $125
Groom boutonniere : $8
Best Man boutonniere: $8
5 Groomsmen boutonniere: $8 each= $40
2 Fathers boutonniere: $8 each= $16
2 mother lapel corsages: $15 each= $30
3 Grandmother lapel corsages: $15 each= $45
2 Grandfather boutonnieres: $8 each= $16
3 Usher boutonnieres= $8= $24
Ring Bearer boutonniere: $8
Flowers for basket: $25
4 pew balls (see picture)= $25 each= $100
Flowers for the cake: $10

I think that I remembered it all...I know it came to a total of $552. What do you girls think of that price?

Wow. that is pretty darned reasonable. Especially where my nick of the woods. I'd say you got a decent deal.

wow that sounds like a good deal to me. I am having the same flowers and with the flowers for the centerpieces they quoted me at over 2k...so yeah your prices sounds awesome...LOL

Yes, those look like very good prices! I'm also having all gerbera daises and my quotes were alot more.

Yes, these are definitely good prices...my first quote for the wedding was $1800....I would love to spend less than 600! :)

WOW. My flower estimate was $2000 and I thought I did great. Well, I guess that's great for orchids...sigh

Wow, that's amazing! If you want cheaper you might go with wholesaler and do your own arrangments. But Still shop around, talk to another florist and tell them the amount you were priced and ask if they can do better. Don't be intimmidated to do so. But really that's a great price, it might be hard to bet that. Good Luck!

I would have to say those are some damn good prices! I just know what my sister spent on her wedding flowers and she spent more then what you are and she only got the flowers for 6 girls (including her flowers), 6 groomsman, 2 dads, 2 moms, and my daughters flowers. You are getting a great price!

I was quoted around the same price as you and I thought
that was a great deal. I've had friends that have payed $3000
plus. So I think $550 is great :)
