This is mrsblissful's Green Wedding!

I know we've been married for 3+ years, but I feel like we're barely engaged! Even though we're married.. we never really experienced "getting married" since we didnt have any bridal parties, or whatever the men do LOL..
So im wondering if Im allowed to do those things now since we're renewing our vows??
and how soon before the wedding do you usually do those things anyway??

Since we are renewing our vows, and the dates are different, I dont know which date to claim as our anniversary!!
The dates are 2 days apart, so the number of years will remain the same, but hmm... We were married for the 1st time on July 26, 2007 & the 2nd time will be July 28, 2012.. so I was thinking that maybe we should just keep saying our anniversary is July 26, 2007??

Although I have been married for 3+ years, I never got my wedding band.. We had planned to buy it over the last couple years, but more important things came up.. so I've been using a right hand ring as my band & it looks fine, but it's just not the same. SO, I'm very excited to be able to finally have my wedding band! And, YAY!! I get to go ring shopping!

But I do have a lot to think about because it isn't easy finding a band that works well with the 3-stone engagement ring.. and trust me, I've looked! So, I need to decide if I want to search for a band that fits well OR find the perfect set.. There are some beautiful sets out there..

Ok, this is from like 4yrs ago, but STILL! His proposal was PERFECT! I had NO clue & he was a true beau!
It was my birthday & I was pregnant with our son, Diego, You'll meet him later ;) .. I was Soo sick with that pregnancy.. oh man... But that's not important!
Brian took me to this amazingly expensive, super classy restaurant & let me tell you, I was Flattered, but very uncomfortable! (totally insecure, of course, that everyone was there was staring at me! knowing I was just a poor girl from South Dakota LOL)

After we were seated, Brian had to go out to the car.. he "forgot something." When he came in, I could have DIED when I saw what he "forgot'!! It was a shoebox inside a PLASTIC GROCERY SACK! It was .. my birthday present. I was Mortified!! I couldnt believe that he didnt even put it in a gift bag! And forget that, he bought me SHOES! I HATE SHOES!!! I was so embarassed & at the same time, sad, because I just knew I would hate his gift ..

The hostess was very... Friendly.. She kept coming over to our table & talking to us. Asking us questions, telling us stories, blah blah blah! I was just like "I DONT CARE! WHAT IS YOUR DEAL?!" (Of course, I didnt say that.) I just smiled & humored her overbearing friendliness.
We ordered our meals & enjoyed our evening together.. Or TRIED TO! The hostess kept coming & Coming & COMING. and with each trip she made to our table, I became more & more annoyed.
There was even a point where she was carrying a tray of ice waters & I joked about sticking out my foot & tripping her! hahaha

SO, we ate. then, here comes Minervas social butterfly.. (Minervas was the name of the restaurant) I was like, YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!! Leave us alone!! :P
She had a newspaper in her hand & came up, all like she knew us, leaned up against my booth & said "I was reading this article & I thought of you guys"

Me--> "REALLY?! YOU DONT EVEN KNOW US!" *rolls eyes with a heavy sigh*

To avoid being rude, which was something SHE clearly had no problem being, I accepted the paper & began to read the article that she had disgustingly doodled a pink heart around..This is what it read:

"ROSES are Red,
Violets are Blue,

SARAH JANE
I would Love to Spend
Eternity With You!
Will You Marry Me?"

It wasn't until I got to the part that says "SARAH JANE", that I thought, "WHAT?!" Then I realized that this was written for ME!
I looked up to Brian, but he wasn't in his seat. My eyes darted to the space beside my own seat, and there he was! Down on one knee.. I couldn't believe my eyes OR ears!! When those 4 little words, "Will you marry me?" spilled from his mouth, I couldn't help but say "YES!!!"

As I embraced my [[FIANCE!!]] I was surprised to hear the ENTIRE RESTAURANT break into an explosive round of applause! Everyone was watching the whole thing as I was there, completely oblivious to what was about to happen! :D Wow.. I don't think about that very often anymore, but it was so perfect & still, to this day, brings an overwhelming amount of joy to my heart! I love my Husband!!

P.S. The shoebox was empty ;)

I am SO excited that my dream wedding will FINALLY come to life! This is the story of our love.. (cont.)
My husband & I were married at the courthouse on July 26, 2007. A very small (4person) ceremony.. No dress.. no tux.. No little girl's dream come true. But worst of all.. NO GOD. Recently, we became Christians & have really grown closer to the Lord than we had Ever thought we would! We have decided to renew our devotion to one another 2 days after our 5year wedding anniversary :) And have the good Lord there with all of our family & friends!!
I can't wait to really start the planning! We are both HUGE Green Bay Packers fans & THAT'S RIGHT... We're going Green & Gold for our colors! I will have to custom make a lot of my things ( I would have anyway :P ) There just isn't enough variety out there to satisfy my imagination! :)


Dreams really DO come true & God REALLY DOES answer prayers!❤
