This is how the story goes... I found the dress that I love last weekend. I asked the consultant at the boutique if it came in Ivory. She said "Yes, all allure gowns come in Ivory, white and they have the new Diamon White, which is a shade in between White and Ivory". So, I was estatic because I was looking for an Ivory gown. So when I got home that day, I looked online at the actual Allure website to admire my gown some more. When I pulled up my gown on the website it only had "White and Diamond White" listed. I immediately called my mom to tell her. She advised me to call the boutique back and ask them just to make sure.

Today, I called the boutique to schedule the actual measuring and confirm the color options available. They confirmed that the dress I chose only comes in White and Diamond White. NO IVORY!!! I'm about to cry. I really really really really love this dress, but I don't want my color combo to be thrown off. I can get the Diamond White, but it looks darn near white as you can see from my pictures in my prior post. WHAT SHOULD I DO LADIES?

Will "Diamond White" look right against Mocha (Chocolate Brown) and Platinum(Greyish)? I know my color scheme is weird, but these are meaningful colors to my FH and I. Could Cream be turned into "Diamond White"??? If you could only see my face right now. LOL...one word: TICKED

I'm embarassed, because after reading this over, I sound like a freakin' Bridezilla. *bows head in shame*

The diamond white will work with your scheme honey and you don't sound like a bridezilla. It is hard to capture exactly what you want during all wedding planning and sometimes it's frustrating. Maybe try the Maggie line though.. and keep breathing. It will all work out :)

awww don't worry we all would probably feel the same, I think diamond white would work out well with your colors and like the girls said Maggie Sottero has very alike dresses in ivory if you are that sure to go for the diamond white, good luck girl!!

You are not being a bridezilla at all. You have a certain look and color that you are going for. Like the other ladies stated look up Maggie Sottero or Jasmine.

Well, there is a sun at the end of the tunnel. For one thing, you are lucky to be the bride! Reasons are is, you can wear what ever your heart desires. Diamond White will still stand in as gorgeous with your color theme. Lucky that it isn't dark blue and purple (smile). It's your wedding and sometimes its good to have a little twist in something different. It will make your wedding rememberable, because it's not a plain boring and tradition wedding. Honestly, I have done and been to many weddings. Can I remember any particular wedding that was all ivory, white or whatever? No, just the ones that stood out! Go girl, work that dress! You love it...WORK IT!

I don't think diamond white would be bad with your color scheme as other girls have said. And I agree with them, Maggie Soterro does have really similar gowns offered in ivory if you want to look there.

Thank you ladies! You are always so helpful. I also spoke to my sister about it and she says go with the Diamon White as well. So, that is what I'm going to do. I feel so foolish now, getting worked up over nothing. Ha Ha You know, you just have something set in your mind and then a monkey wrench is thrown in... it's all good though. I told my sister I was about to cry and I had tears in my eyes and she started laughing at me. LOL... sheesh!

I Think The Diamond White Will Look Great. Have A Couple Bridesmaids Go With You And Get Them Each In A Color Of Your Wedding, One In Mocha, One In Platinum And Have Them Stand Beside You In The Dress. If Youre Doing Cream Also, Have One Put On A Creamy Dress (Even An Ivory Bridal Gown) And See How You Like It.

That's a great idea abeautifulmess... I will definitely do that. If I get the diamond white dress and am going to cut cream out altogher and go with a shade of white that matches the diamond color.
