Bridesmaids
First BIG wedding debate!! HELP!!!
FH and I are having our first big debate over the wedding! So far he has been so helpful and completly supportive UNTIL it came time to discuss our wedding party. I want a only a few BM and GM because 1.I read the drama stories some of you girls are going through 2. Since we are paying for dresses and tux I think we need to keep it a small number to cut down on cost and 3. I don't have a lot of girl friends that I would want standing next to me on my big day. My FH has 2 older brother and like 5 best friends that he insists on having as his grooms men. That makes a total of 7! And I think that is too many for our type of ceremony. I don't understand why he doesn't have just his two older brother as GM and just invite the best friends. I am an only child so I don't have a built in bridesmaid so my MOH is my very dear best friend and my other BM is my cousin. So far I only have two while he wants 7! I know we don't have to have the exact same number but 7 and 2 is quite a big difference! I am kind of close with one of my FH cousin but I feel a little weird asking her to be in my bridal party. HELP!!

Confession
Jumped off the diet train!! :(
So the past couple of months I have been eating really healthy and exercising daily to drop about 20lbs and to get in better shape for the wedding and our honeymoon. I have stopped drinking sodas and banned all sweets. Which is really hard by the way becasue I am a sugar junkie! Well.....yesterday I had a HORRIBLE day at work and my FH is out of town for a few days so I gave in to temptation and now I feel really guilty! On the way home from work I stopped to get a medium cheese pizza and ate almost the entire thing! Plus, drank a dr. pepper, 2 margaritas, and to top it off, I had a chocolate covered do-nut for dessert! And... I didn't even try to make it to the gym! So now that I have returned to the dark side I can't even find an ounce of motivation to get back on my healthy kick. I keep telling myself that it will be more that worth it and I am VERY pleased with my results so far but it's not working! Just needed to confess and hopefully when my FH gets back, he can help motivate me!

Where are you going on your honeymoon?
FH and I are thinking about taking a 5 day caribbean cruise for our honeymoon. But, we have never been on a cruise before and I have a few concerns. #1 Sea sickness and #2 are they fun? If any of you ahve been on a cruise please let me know what you thought of it and I want to know where you ladies are going on your honeymoon!!

Wedding Music And Songs
SO MANY SONGS!!!
So I never knew that there were so many special songs to play during the wedding ceremony. Or maybe I just didn't pay that much attention... So when I started doing research on what songs to play this is the list I have come up with so far...
Prelude- Love is a Beautiful Thing by Phil Vasser Processional- Come Away with Me by Nora Jones, Everything I Do, I Do It For you by Brian Adams Bride Entrance- Bridal Chorus Interlude- Best Friend by Tim McGraw Recessional- Still deciding and open for suggestions. Wanting something upbeat and happy. So far on my list is Dynomite by Taio Cruz, Every time we touch by Cascada, Forever by Chris Brown, From This Moment by Shania Twain, or Your Love is My Drug by Ke$ha. Whatever song we decide on for our recessional is also going to be the postlude song! Ceremony Enterance- I've Got a Felling by The Black Eyed Peas First Dance- Make You Feel My Love by Adele Mother/ Son Dance- Undecided Father/ Daughter- My Little Girl by Tim McGraw Cake Cutting- Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard Bouquet Toss- Single Ladies by Beyonce Garter Toss- Undecided Typing all of that wore me out!! As you can tell we like all different types of music! What are some special songs that you ladies are playing? |

Found My Garter Set!
Today I ordered my garter set! I found a super cute Arkansas Razorback set! FH and I are HUGE razorback fans!! I think it will be a nice surprise for him on the wedding day ;D!

Question Ladies......
Anyone drowning the gown after the ceremony? Over the past few months I have been to a few wedding where the lovely brides jumped into water with their new husbands! Gown and all!! Just wondering if anyone else has thought about doing that. I think I am going to stick with the tradition of having it cleaned and preserved! |

DIY Wedding
Location Location Location!
We reserved and paid for our location over the weekend! It is going to be at the beautiful Mount Nebo State Park. We will have an outdoor ceremony at the top of the mountain overlooking the Arkansas River and our reception will be in a beautiful rock and wood closed pavillion! Pictures coming soon!
