Our Reception site is PERFECT! It's only a block from our ceremony, which will be wonderful considering we have lots of out of town guests coming. It's absolutely gorgeous and we couldn't be happier!

Honeymoon
Honeymoon is BOOKED!!!!
We booked our honeymoon a few weeks ago! We are so excited! We'll be taking a cruise on the BRAND NEW ship "Allure of the Seas" through Royal Caribbean. We leave the day after the wedding for 7 days! Our intinerary stops in Labadee, Haiti; Falmouth, Jamaica; and Cozumel, Mexico.

Wedding Dress
I'm in LOVE!!!
I absolutely LOVE my dress. But the mermaid part of it makes it hard to walk in. So I'm having the bottom raised up about 7 inches and my seamstress will open the dress in the front and add tulle to it. I am so excited to see the finished product.
My mother picked my dress out, and I am gonna be honest, I hated the dress on the hanger. But, you know what they say, when you put it on it's a different story. Well, it was!!!! I was IN LOVE with it! I feel sophisticated, beautiful, and like a princess! I hope my FH thinks so too when he see's me in it<3 The first two pics are my dress and the last picture is of the alterations being done to the front!!! |

Family problem with my Dad??
Hey ladies, I need some advice. I haven't talked to my dad since August because we had a falling out about my wedding. Basically (long story short) he has not been a father for a while, and when I asked for money to help with my wedding, he told me he didn't have the money, which was fine. Then he said he doesn't know if he can even come (I live in Florida and he lives in Illinois where I grew up) because he doesn't have the money and if he does that he will come to walk me down the aisle and then have to leave. At that point, I just told him not to even bother coming.
On a better note, I have an uncle who has been AMAZING to me my whole life and he's offered to walk me down if my father doesn't make it. Then a few weeks ago my Mom, who has raised me and been my rock and best friend my whole life, asked me, "Why can't I give you away, I'm the one that's been there for you since day one." I was actually surprised and glad she asked me, but she said if I want my uncle to give me away that would be a blessing too. I don't know what to do??? What do you girls think? Also, if I walk down with my mom, do you ladies think "Mama's song" by Carrie Underwood would be appropriate? Or should I let my uncle and my mom give me away and stick to my original song, "somewhere over the rainbow?" Thanks girl, looking forward to your comments!!! |

Wedding Music And Songs
Wedding songs.......to be continued...
I haven't had much time to work on this part of the wedding, but I DO have a few songs that I'm certain I want.
I'm having my Bridesmaids walk down by themselves and the Groomsmen stand at the front with my FH. The girls are walking down to "Dream" by Priscilla Ahn! It's such a cute, and touching song for girls and I think it's perfect! I am wanting to walk down the aisle to "Somewhere over the Rainbow" by Jason Castro, because we're having an outdoor wedding and it an awesome version of the song. |

Today we got the ceremony booked at the Turtle court Located at the Thomas Center in Downtown Gainesville. It's so awesome. It's even more amazing in person!!!! I'm so excited!!!!
