This is mrsejap's Chocolate Wedding!

So I am wondering what I should do for my shower. I was thinking candy themed, but I don't want to over do the candy seeing as how that's the theme for the wedding. I was wanting something different from the wedding. The wedding is How Sweet it is, mixed with fall...any ideas???

I also wanted to include on the invites for everyone to bring their favorite recipe so me and fh will have some recipes to start out with...

HELP!!! LOL

Here are a couple pictures of cakes I like. I really love the first one. And I love the couple sitting on the top of the second one. The third one is just another version like the first, but of course I would do brown and orange. Some people might not like it, but I do!!! :)

I couldn't upload pictures on my earlier blog so here is the pic of my candy buffet containers. Also the sign How Sweet It Is that I made. I also painted the gold hearts. I want to go look at some thrift shops for more containers.

Here are a couple choices for the dresses. My color is the darker brown, I couldn't save the dress with the pick ups in truffle. (But you get the idea :] )

So the theme is "How sweet it is". I thought it would be cute to name our tables accordingly. But I'm not sure exactly how. I was thinking of candy since were doing the candy table. But I also like different types of. cake. What do you think?

I have managed to catch this monster cold...that or its turned into a sinus infection. I'm hoping I get well enough by tomorrow. We are going to church with FH mother. It is the church were going to be married in so I was excited. But if I can't stop from coughing and blowing my nose there is no way I'm going. :(

On a better note I went shopping the other day! I got 8 more candy containers. Now there's 10 total. I have to hit up some thrift stores. Hopefully I will find some interesting pieces. I also got and started on the sign for the candy table. I will post pictures as soon as I can. I have. To wait until I go to my parents house.

I met up with my cousin yesterday. She was diagnosed with breast cancer. So she and her FH moved their wedding date to April 23. I was able to go in and watch her try on dresses. She brought her friend Sandra with her. Turns out she is a photographer! So I got a business card.:) she does nice. Work...so maybe it's a sign. :)

Hello WBC! Just thought I would start this off by introducing myself! I'm Melissa and the loml is Eugene. (Nickname Gino). November 13, 2010 will be our 10 year anniversary! 10 years, I can't believe it! We met through my cousin at just 17 and 19. We were babies! lol. We're still going strong. We have been through a lot together, holding each others hands along the way. I couldn't be happier to marry my best friend. I am very excited to be planning this wedding, as it has been a long time planning. I look forward to sharing everything with all you bride's to be! :)

Our wedding is themed "How sweet it is" with a fall motif. I think Fall is a beautful season to get married in. It's a time for change, and that is what marriage is, a change. But a great one. :p Our colors are chocolate brown, burnt orange with gold accents.
