Question.. I just met with a great DJ service and wondered how long you all are booking your DJ's for? Six hours seems like a reasonable amount of time. After all the wedding "activities" there would be about 2 1/2 hours for dancing. With some other dancing here and there. What is the norm?

I found a place online that will sell me the tubes for these "vases." I am getting a sample sent to me to see if they will work. I will post more after I get them. I hope they work, as they will fit my decor perfectly. Crossing my fingers. Do you like?

****I was fed ex the samples from Washington, love the birch. Will most likely use the tubes instead of the bark sheets. Apparently he is getting a big supply from Siberia. Excellent.****

I ordered my cake from a great place in Mesa called Sugarlips Cakery. I brought her this picture and she can make it exactly as I want. I have loved this cake since I first saw it here on WBC. I carried it around in my planner and showed everyone who would look! And now im actually going to have it for my Big Day! It is perfect. The only change will be various purple flowers instead of pink. I want to say thank you to whoever posted this beautiful picture! Thank you.

Wondering what kind of flower budgets everyone is trying to stay around? I just got a quote for my flowers and about fell off my chair! Totally floored. I had no idea flowers would cost so much.
I was trying to stay around $1000. There will be about 25 tables and approx. 150-175 guests. On to the next quote!

I am talking to two different flower companies here in Phoenix and Gilbert. I am anxious to see what they both come up with! They both like the idea of using the purples instead of the wildflowers. I am keeping an open mind. I want my flowers to be perfect. In going with the purple accents instead of the other, the only thing I will miss are having shades of pinks too. I really love pink. But I think pink won't go with the purple scheme. Oh well. I will see what happens. Besides my MOH said my bridal shower will have so much pink in it I won't know what to do, lol.

I have changed my colors so many times as I am sure there are others out there like me.. I was sure I was going with chocolate brown, lime green with a wildflower theme. So all different types of flowers and colors. Including each of my maids wearing a different "wildflower" color. With this idea set in my mind, I am now strongly thinking about changing my colors to chocolate brown, green with light and dark purple accents. I will look for some photos to post. Any thoughts?

I know I have always said I would never go to a mass market store for my wedding dress. But I did.. and I left with a new wedding dress! Amazing but true. It was the 8th dress I tried on and knew it was it. My MOH and my Mother loved it too. I won't post a picture of it on here, just in case my future husband stumbles upon my blog here. Needless to say, im very happy with my pick. One thing down, a million more to go!
