He finally got me the ring!!! FI asked me to marry him about a month ago, but because we live in different cities and I did not have a traditional "down on one knee with ring in hand" proposal, I did not feel it was official. I have told a few select friends, but have not told anyone in my family or at work. Well, he was able to come down and visit me last week and we spend the most amazing week together...and he finally got down on one knee with the most beautiful ring! Even though I knew it was coming I cried like a baby. :D And now that we have made the announcement to both our families and have started to plan in earnest, I am starting to truly feel engaged. I'm over the moon!
