Save the date...
When to send them?
So I wanted to post a picture of my save the date. I think they came out awesome! They are magnets which I originally thought were going to be too expensive, but I got a great deal!
Now I have a question: How far in advance do you send them out? I have just under 8 months before my wedding and want to make sure I am not going to send them too soon. Let me know what you all think! :) |

It's been a while....
Plans are coming along :)
So I have been super busy with the holiday's and wedding planning and haven't had time to update. I have pretty much everything booked:
Reception: Palazzo Grande DJ: Sound Doggs Productions Photographer: Bruce (A photographer friend of my sisters who is amazing!) Linens / Flowers: Royalty Linens & Events (She gave me an awesome deal! I was shocked at all of the stuff that I was able to get! I am getting all my linens, lights, flowers, center pieces, etc. for less than my entire flower budget was! I highly recommend Amanda the owner! She's amazing!) Bridesmaid Dresses: See Attached Picture! It's the middle dress. Limo: Satisfaction Limosine Save the Dates: Ordered from agiftfulheart.com. I got 150 magnets for $140. That was the cheapest by far that I had found for magnets. I have about half addressed and will be sending them out some time in February. Now all I have to do is find my dress (which is the biggest part of planning!) I am going at the end of the month because the new spring collections. All of the large stuff is done! and all vendors are booked! Yay! Now I can start looking for favors and other accessories for the big day! :) |

Possible Dresses
What do you guys think of these for possible dresses? I would totally changes my colors just to match. But do you think these colors will look at good together in linens and center pieces? Let me know you thought! :) idk why it looks weirdly colored but when you click on it it will show up the right colors.

Wedding Favors
Vista Print Freebies!
Finally reeped the benefits of Vista Print! I wasn't understanding how everyone was getting things so cheap and/or for free until now! If you sign up as a member they will send you emails with awesome deals! This is everything I got:
140 Return address labels with a cute design 250 Business Cards (I edited them to say "Shannon & Ron, our date, and Thank you for sharing our special day". I will punch a hole in them and tie them to whatever favors I decide on). 1 - Personalized photo album with our engagement pictures in them. I will display this on the card box table at the wedding. 1 - Stamp with our return address on it. Not sure why I need labels and a stamp, but hey! it was free! lol! 10 - Christmas cards with our picture on it All I paid was $6 for shipping! Can't wait to get my goodies! :) Anyone else get anything good lately? Can't wait till they come in the mail! :) |

Plans are coming along
So we met with the priest and the question didn't even come up. I even had to write down the same address for both of us when filling out the paperwork. The priest said they do a lot of weddings and as long as you attent mass every Sunday they will not refuse to marry anyone. So relieved! :)
The planning is coming along. We have booked the following: Reception Hall Church Photographer DJ Hotel Rooms / Shuttle for guests Then I am meeting with the decorator next week. She is doing our chair covers for sure, but she also does lighting, draperies, flowers, etc. She is pretty much a one stop shop so I hope I like her work and prices. She is also going to help me decide on my colors by showing me different schemes of arrangements. I am still having such a hard time deciding exactly what colors I want. I have a big "to do" list for november! I thought I was so far ahead, but now it seems like I am falling behind! So much to do! Ahh! We are also getting our engagement pictures done this Sunday! I can't wait. We were supposed to get them two weeks ago but had to post pone because of the weather! Fingers crossed that nothing gets in the way this weekend! Any advice on engagement pictures? I have our outfits picked out, but I want to make sure they pictures come out amazing! |

Hello Brides!
I need some advice. We are meeting with the pastor at our catholic church today. I was wondering if I should tell them that we live together? I don't want to lie, but at the same time I don't want to be honest and him refuse to marry us! Has anyone else had this problem? If so what did you do? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated! |

Wedding Reception
Found the Venue!
Finally found the venue! After looking at and pricing over 30 places we finally put a deposit down on our hall! And I love it! The FH actually decided on the place! I was getting so stressed about what everything cost that I made him figure it out! He finally realized what was making me so crazy! lol! But it's called the Palazzo Grande! It was built about 3 years ago and it it gorgous! This is the only picture I could steal off their website!
On the other hand... I still can not figure out what colors I want! I have gone back and forth a million times! If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated! lol! |

DIY Wedding
Vintage Theme
So I have totally changed my mind about what colors to do about a million times! But I think I have finally decided on something. I like the whole feel and look of vintage. I think there are some really great color schemes that come along with it. My colors will be (if I don't change my mind AGAIN!) raspberry bridesmaid dresses with light brown, and a purplie color accents. (Haven't fully developed the idea yet!
But this project was my inspiration: http://carolynshomework.blogspot.com/2011/07/etceteras-cranberry-glass.html I think these would make nice center pieces for my wedding shower! Throw some matching colored flower in and we are good to go! Let me know your thoughts! I am so indecisive! There are just so many different and unique things to do!
