Wedding Reception
Found the Venue!

Finally found the venue! After looking at and pricing over 30 places we finally put a deposit down on our hall! And I love it! The FH actually decided on the place! I was getting so stressed about what everything cost that I made him figure it out! He finally realized what was making me so crazy! lol! But it's called the Palazzo Grande! It was built about 3 years ago and it it gorgous! This is the only picture I could steal off their website!

On the other hand... I still can not figure out what colors I want! I have gone back and forth a million times! If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated! lol!

The outside looks really nice and I love the name. There are a lot color combos you can go with. I suggest picking your favorite colors and ones that would go with your wedding theme and the time of year.

I chose different shades of purple and silver (bling). I just think purple reflects us the best and purple is my favorite color :-)

I was looking at your venue online and it's gorgeous! Since the hall has neutral colors, any color will work.  Are you having a theme?

Congrats Neighbor!!! That is a very lovely place! When me and FH were looking i didnt even think to look there for some reason. I see you orginally were thinking Penna's. FH and i decided to go with Villa Penna's we both loved it there and have had family occations there before! So happy you found your venue!! if you have any questions about other venus just give me a hollar!! :-D

as for your color, i saw you love yellow! Being early September i would go with summer colors personally. my wedding is september 29th, which is clearly fall by then in our area. this is part of the reason i picked it (i wanted a fall wedding with dark colors). I think you could go either way. techniquely fall starts september 21st.....not that it really matters, but it might to you (like it did to me). I picked dark red and gold because it was very fall and very rich looking (which i love)! Plus i just love red!! and pink too (which is why i found should floral examples that are mostly red and gold (with a tiny bit of pink).
I say if you love yellow and it would look good at the venue then go with it!!!

No I am not having a theme. My favorite color is yellow so I was trying to incorporate that some how without it looking to summery! I was thinking a yellow and blue possibly. I am meeting with the lady that will be doing my chair covers and decorations this weekend so hopefully she can help me decide! It doesn't help that I have 5 friends getting married next year and they all picked their colors before me! I don't want to copy any of their colors so I am trying to find something different!

Oh so jealous you got Villa Penna! That place is super nice! They only had my date at the Penna's on Van Dyke and the room seems crammed to me. But their food is amazing! Good choice!

Yellow is one of my favorite colors. How about doing Yellow with either aqua,  teal, turquoise, or royal blue?

Thanks! We really love it there! I was able to get it because we booked so early. We were the first to book for that month and the whole fall season!
Yellow and blue would be beautiful!! And it doesnt scream summer! maybe even add a gray or silver in there like this!! up to you of course!!
