Save the date...
When to send them?

So I wanted to post a picture of my save the date. I think they came out awesome! They are magnets which I originally thought were going to be too expensive, but I got a great deal!

Now I have a question: How far in advance do you send them out? I have just under 8 months before my wedding and want to make sure I am not going to send them too soon.

I love them! We also got magnets for our save the dates and love them!

We sent them out a year in advance.... but everyone is different. I'd say if you have 8 months to go, you're good to send them now.

I love your save the dates!!!!! I agree with hismrsb, I sent mine out a year in advance, but you should be good to send them out now!

Love them they are super cute. I love your date too... not just cause its mine as well! :) I havent even made mine up yet but i was thinking about sending them out in late Feb. but like the other ladies said now would be good too since you already have them

I really love them!! graet job!! I just sent mine and I have 6 months to go ... "they" say or so I have read that you shoudl send them around the 6-7 month mark so I think you are good to them now :)

They are great. So very cute and I love the style as well. I have been searching for diiferent styles for the magnets. This is the one thing that my FH is very vocal about lol.

Love it!! We sent ours out at 7 months, we didn't have anyone traveling from anywhere that far to do any sooner and the ones that were traveling a distance we let them know by email at the one year mark.

I was told 5-6 mths out.

It gives the out of town guest proper time to pre-plan to attend and not forget (if u send them out too far away from when you'll send ur formal invites). It also gives them a chance to decline in advance if they know for sure they can't come, you can save a invitation.

But as hismrsb mentioned, every bride does it different. Goood Luck

I am in love with your Save the Date!!! Where did you order them from?  I am getting married in July of 2013 and I am sending my Save the Dates in July of 2012 (1 year in advance) since almost all of my guests are from out of state...
