How long did you date before you got engaged?
5.5 years.

Did you get the ring you wanted?
I hadn't shown him any, but i always knew i wanted something different and luckily for me he understood that about me and picked me a lovely lovely ring!

Was the proposal a complete surprise?
I guess i was always thinking it may happen, as we'd been together a while, but yes it was a surprise.

Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? If so How big or small?
I think my ring is perfect!

Did you cry when he proposed?
Almost! But i managed to hold it back!

Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how if you'd like.
It was romantic and perfect for us!

When do you want to go for your honeymoon?
We are going on honeymoon on the Monday after the wedding

Are you buying his wedding band for him?
We both went shopping together.

Have you gone over your original wedding budget?
Yes we have! Oops!

What day of the year will your wedding be?
Saturday 6th March!

What kind of weather?
All i'm hoping for is that it is dry.

Ceremony at 2pm, reception to follow.

How many bridesmaids? Who would they be?
Two bridesmaids, both my friends and one flowergirl who is the daughter of another friend.

What kind of cake/what will it look like?
It's a 3-tiered stacked, square, sponge cake, with white icing and then small yellow, white and pale green flowers covering the top of each tier and then a narrown ribbon around the base of each tier

Where will you have the reception?
Matara Centre, Gloucester.

What kind of dress will you have/color/material?
I haven't found one yet!!!!!!

Kind of engagement ring?
Its a square cluster ring with diamonds on the shoulders as well

Kind of wedding bands?
Mine is a diamond encrusted band, that matches my engagement ring. His is a plain 18ct matt white gold band.

How will you wear your hair?
Probably up in a messy updo

Who will be important to be there?
Our close family and friends.

Will the reception be big or small?
inbetween!

What will the groom wear?
A black suit with a lovely yellow tie.....i think

Where will you go for the honeymoon?
One week in southern florida and a one week cruise in the caribbean!!! So excited!

Will it be modest or costly?
It is definetly costly! We splashed out as we thought we would only do it once.

What will you stay in?
In southern florida we are staying in a small boutique hotel in a suite and on the cruise we are having a suite with a balcony

How old will you and the groom be?
I will be 26 (almost 27) and he will be 33.

How long will you be engaged before you get married?
1 year and 2 months

Live together before or wait till married?
We lived together for 5 years before we got engaged and 4.5 of those were in a house we bought together.

Take a long time to plan the wedding or will it be simple?
Not too long. But i'm making sure i get everything i want.

Will you do it yourself or with family or hire someone to plan the wedding?
I'm planning the wedding, with Simons help.

Will you write your own vows or use something pre-made?
We are considering writing our own.
