Well so far I have gotten my mom this Mother Of the Bride brooch and I also have made her this picture frame with a heart felt poem inside that says:
FOR YOU MOM
I close my eyes and travel to
a time when it was me and you.
You filled my days with rainbow lights,
fairytales, and sweet dream nights.
A kiss to wipe away my tears,
and deep warm hugs that eased my fears.
I thank you for your tender care,
ice cream cones, and being there.
You gave the gift of life to me,
and then in love, you set me free.
Today as I walk down the aisle
I’ll see a tear mixed with your smile.
We’ll share a glance and then you’ll see
just how much you mean to me.
For though I’m grown and wearing pearls...
I’ll always be “your little girl.”
Thank you Mom, for all you are
and have been to me through the years.

I know she wont even read it because she hates when I make her cry, but hopefully she will
