Wedding Makeup
flawless and bagless lol!;-)!
Well I've worn glasses since forever and I'm opting out of them for the big day, mainly bc of the birdcage veil. I've started wearing my contacts to prepare for the big day. The problem is I have indentions on my face from years of wearing glasses and my eyes have ALOT of puffiness (BAGS), which I can't tell if its from wearing glasses or heredity (my mom eyes are kind of the same, but I guess not as noticeable bc she never really wore glasses). I've looked at home remedies to reduce the puffiness but I'm really wondering if it will have the desired effect by wedding day and if its worth making a dermatologist appt. I think I get more than enough sleep, so that's not the problem. Any suggestionsa good makeup and the best makeup tips? Here's some pics from a makeup trial with a nonprofessional which I thought was ok, but the puffiness is still very noticeable. how do you keep from getting oily after your makeup has been on or are touchups the norm throughout a wedding day?

IVOry or whITE?
Anxious and ready to make A PURCHASE
My dress is ivory and I've started looking for the items I need for our wedding ceremony (unity candle set, flower girl basket, ring bearer pillow, etc.) I've saw a lot of cute stuff but I haven't made a decision to purchase anything because my planner thinks that because my dress is ivory and he'll have on ivory that all the accessories should be ivory and not white. Well most of the items come in white I don't think it will really make that big of a difference plus I haven't seen any plan ivory baskets or pillows or guest books to DIY how I would like them to look, everything I've found has been white except some unity candles. Should I try to press on and hold off on buying this items because they're not IVORY?! Hobby Lobby is having bridal event this week(everything will be 50% off) and I need to get some of this taken care of. What are you ladies thinking? Input, tell me please..:-)

MOH...Bridesmaid? what are you...
I'm really wishing I didn't have a bridal party just so I wouldn't have to deal with the pple who act as though they don't want to be a part or could care less. I've changed my MOH of 3Xs! Its ridiculous. When we first started planning the first go around I have my very best friend that knows my whole life but she got pregnant and couldn't do it. Then I decided on my "beauty pageant queen" BF. Well she never came to any appointments with me, was late to( 2hours late) to my first DB appointment last year, and didn't even know the date of the wedding cause she's was soo busy with "her life". Well after we started replanning I decided to go with my first friend because she was no longer pregnant. She said ok, but one of the other bridesmaids is the girlfriend of the best man so she feels like she should be walking with her man. So I changed it again and decided to let her walk with her man and be the MOH but she already seems like she can never do anything with me and she wasn't even a contender. My FH is always like where are your girls they're supposed to be doing this and that with you but no one does. It's like they don't know what their duties are but everyone wants to be a part. My BEST friend doesn't mind just being a bridesmaid and not the MOH(she just really didn't want to cause confusion) and the beauty queen still acts as if she can care less and the other girl is just there. (I do have 3 more too)

Wedding Planner
she thinks...BUT I THINK...
Today I went to see the wedding planner and discuss our wedding. We really just went over budget and wedding attire for the most part and the bridal party. Well, the question at hand is should my Godson, FH nephew, be in the wedding. He's only 2 but I love him like our own because he is the same age our child would be but we MC 2 years ago. I want him to come out with my FH or with the other ring bearer or bell ringer although I know he probably won't be screaming "the bride is coming!" he'll be just ringing the bell. He's not shy by any means so I'm really not worried about him crying either. My planner says she sees no purpose in him coming out with my FH, she was like "what would his role be?" I was like he's practically like our son and I really can't see him causing a problem and she was saying kids are unpredictable( which is true) but I want him in it! Should I just let this go or go with my and my FH decision to have him be apart.

Wedding Dress
should I just get another one....
I've had my dress since March of last year because we were previously engaged but pushed the date back due to change in jobs. It was tight then and its still tight now. I'm 5'2" 140. I really don't think I'm big and most people don't either, I'm just very thick in the middle. My dress was on sale the store was going out of business and that's one of the main reasons I got it but I do like it. It was a $1200 dollar dress on sale at a boutique for 75% off cause the store was going out of business. It was the second store I went in and I went alone although I had my mom and aunt(planner/coordinator) when I went to finally purchase the dress.
I didn't cry or have that moment everyone says you should feel. I do like the dress but I kinda wonder if I should look a lil more or if its just me. It does fall into the "old hollywood" theme though. Then another thing is I don't want to go on a diet to lose weight and lose too much and the dress not fit right. I'm the biggest now that I've ever been and its really not a problem for me just a problem for me to fit in my dress. I know I have a while to get the mid section right but I'm not a fan of sit ups however I'm trying to eat healthier now. |

black and white with red roses...gold or silver?
I'm trying to decide whether or not to use silver or gold accents for the wedding decor. I love gold and really don't care much for silver at all but I find more people's opinions favor the silver to go with my colors. I'm not so sure though but I do know that silver is a lot more easier to find. I may just go with silver because its easier to find....what do you think goes better? Most pics I find have silver as well...

Getting Started...AGAIN
I'm really getting restarted with planning our wedding. I have most of the things I want in mind. I have to rebook all my vendors except my cake lady. My biggest problem is constantly changing mind anytime I see something cute especially anything "Old Hollywood". I go see my planner tomorrow to discuss the wedding and overall theme and budget. I have my dress although as of right now its a lil snug. I have some of my flowers too. My thoughts are everywhere, eat, sleep, think 24/7 wedding and all at the same time very anxious to get it done! How do you stick to your first mind...LOL!?
