This is mrskempf2b's Blue Wedding!

I never thought when I got married almost 9 years and two kids ago that i would be doing this again. But the wonderful thing about life and love and trusting God is that even in our sorrow, wonderful things can happen.

My first hubby passed away from a heart attack leaving me to care for a 13month old and an almost 3 year old. As absolutely heart wrenching as it has been, my angels have kept me together.

This wedding is for them as much as it is for me. They will be 4 and 5 1/2 when we get married. They will be walking down the aisle with me, after all, Karl is marrying all of us.

They are the first to tell you that their first daddy is in heaven with Jesus, that He needed daddy more than we did, but they love their soon to be daddy with as much heart as a biological child.

It takes a special man to be a daddy, my kids have been lucky enough to experience the love of two.

my brothers intended is to by my only bridesmaid. she is very OCD, I think she will do me some good, maybe get this wedding planned and organized so I can relax. I have done more productive work on the wedding in the last 6 hours than in the 7 weeks since he proposed.

Anyway, this is to be her dress.

We have made the decision to host our wedding and reception at the Gandy Dancer in Ann Arbor Michigan. The Gandy Dancer is the old train station, it is an absolutely fabulous location. They are known for their seafood and Sunday brunch.

We are having a very small wedding, approximately 50 guests. We are having a 10:30am ceremony, followed by Brunch.

This is the dress I have picked out, only mine is in ivory. I found it on ebay from a bridal store that was going out of business. It was a store sample. It has a few minor flaws, but nothingmy future MIL can't fix.

I am also thinking about having the dress shortened to tea length because of the 10:30am wedding time, what do you think? I am only 5'1" so it has to be shortened anyway.
