I just ordered and created my own garter! Any garters I had seen in stores or online didn't fit the idea I had in my mind. They were all white and lacy, with a lot of blue ribbon. None matched our colour scheme at all. I found a website where you could order unconventional garters (including sports teams, etc.) and to my delight you can create your own.

Mine is black satin with a scarlet red ribbon and a guitar charm to surprise my guitar playing honey! Plus they threw in a matching throw away for $10!

I'm glad I could find something that I like and that my FH will actually want to keep when the wedding's all over!
