Something Old, Something New..
Ok, so I finally got all my little things figured out:
Something old: My fiances mom gave me a bracelet her mother gave her and I will be wearing that that day. Something new: My dress, jewelry, shoes, garter... Something borrowed: My sister Jamie offered to let me borrow her lucky guardian angel pin. Something blue: Panties :) Yay, it feels so good to get stuff figured out and done! |

Countdown
14 days to go..
Only about two more weeks to go before I am married!! :)
I have been feeling so much love for my fiance over the weeks. I am still stressed and pressed for time, but there is this warm feeling in my tummy, and I cannot wait to share the rest of my life with him. He has been very helpful with the wedding, and is also going to help me with favors next week. So sweet :) Another really cute moment was when I was putting the childrens favor bags together. I bought glow sticks and I broke two of them on accident and they started glowing.. he put them behind his ears and was being silly.. haha then last night he was like..my glow sticks died :( Good times! |

Sign In/Escort Card Table
I am trying to decide on what I want on my sign in table / escort card table. I found this picture and it does reflect the dramatic look I am going for :)
I originally chose a candelabra with hanging crystals. But I got to thinking about it, and right above that table is a beautiful chandelier, I dont want to take away from that with something that looks kind of like a chandelier.. I want to add to it.. I think I would wait to have the rose pedals until after the ceremony just to add a different touch :) I will have damask escort cards. I think this would be nice. UPDATE: I got confirmation from my florist that she could do this centerpiece, so this is it for for the sign in table. So pretty. :) |

Caught the bouquet!!
I went to my friends wedding this weekend with my fiance David, and we had a great time. We danced and drank. On our way home we were singing songs together. So cute.. because he does not sing! LOL

One of two centerpieces
Last night I went to finalize things with my florist. We decided to have this cute centerpiece and one other.
I'm really excited to see how it's going to turn out. There will also be a few tiny red roses with the lilies. (See pic) The 2nd centerpiece will be a trumpet vase that will be used during the ceremony. During the ceremony they will be all white flowers, then for the reception the florist is going to add red roses in the bottom of the vases and then add more red roses throughout the arrangement to give it a different look. Hanging crystals will be added on each vase. Candles all over the tables and room. The linens will be: White table cloth, black overlay, white napkins, white chair covers with black sash. With this damask paper under the centerpieces (see picture). Damask borderd escort cards, and menu. Table numbers personalized with a damask symbol. |

Make-up retrial & Bridal Shower
July 19, 2009 was my bridal shower. The pictures posted are from that day. I also had another make up consultation that day that went much better. So I decided to have my make up done on the wedding day instead of doing it myself. Keep in mind it was over 100 degrees and I did not re-apply powder once, so I'm pretty shiny LOL
But I am very happy with the overall look of the make up, the girl that did it was very friendly and listened to what I was telling her, and did not pack the blush on me. She gave me a glowy look :) |

BM'S Dresses are in!
Today I met up my girls to see how their dresses fit. They all looked great, but my sister Shannon in the middle (MOH) wasn't happy with her dress. So that was a bummer, but I think they looked beautiful!! I'm very happy with my choice.
The ear rings they are wearing were a gift from me, and I love them. Here is a picture I took today. |

Re-Booked Honeymoon :)
We re-booked our honeymoon at Secrets Silver Sands in Riviera, Cancun.
We had to cancel our first reservation due to my fiance losing his passport. You would think it would be simple to replace, but for an Australian citizen, not so easy. The U.S.A. said it would take at least 3 months to process, but ended up taking about a month. I was really bummed out when we canceled, but now I'm glad we did...because when we re-booked, it was $1000 CHEAPER!! WOO HOOO!! Something good came from that flu!! Here is the website, it's all inclusive.
