89 days!!!! OMG! Butterflies!!!! *MrsMagraff2be*
Hey ladies!
So as of today....we are officially less than 3 MONTHS AWAY from saying "I do" *deep breath* wow!!! So I have alot to do for the next 30 days...I am also trying to not stress so much and I have been trying to diet and exercise. I stopped drinking anything other than water. I lost 5 lbs from Last Sunday to Saturday morning. I gained 2 back over the weekend due to poor choices but I am gonna work extra hard this week to lose those 2 plus more!!! Wish me luck! I have my dress fittings scheduled....with the first one being April 28th. So 60 days of getting fit. I think I can do it!!!! I also have to do my teeth whitening and I have been taking extra care of my skin!!! I also have to work on our program information and placecards to send to the lady on Etsy....we are doing programs/placecards to match our New Orleans themed table numbers(photos below). The programs will not be on dark paper like one in photo...will be same color as table number and placecards. My FH is from New Orleans so its important for me to incorporate him in there!!!! Im so ready...but then again...Im even more ready for the honeymoon. Have you guys started shopping for honeymoon yet?? I am not one to dress sexy when going to bed....I prefer spongebob and hello kitty LOL! So this is gonna be a big transition to wifey world....Im going to make visits to Fredericks and VS from now til time to leave...to make sure I get some things to make hubby to be say "hmmmm married life is wonderful" HAHAHAHA! Wedding Invitation

Got a package today(I loveeee getting packages) and it was the completed calligraphed envelopes from Calligraphy by Jennifer(she is so sweet)
So I am extra excited....and since we are still about 3 weeks out from sending the invites to our guests....I decided to send our Presidents a little early. This will give me a chance to see if we need more postage and if there will be any issues delivering the invites. Im so happy and ready for the RSVP's to come rolling in!!!! YAY!!!! |

Okay ladies....question time! LOL!
How do you all feel about a "unplugged" wedding? One of my BM/BFF's is getting married soon to someone who is pretty well known..well she wants to keep things private which I understand because dating someone in the spotlight...can be a bit overbearing and cause problems if things are too open! We have seen it happen all too much right? Kim K for example! LOL! Well...she wanted to find a nice way to word "dont take pictures because we have a photographer" so I read a blog about asking your guests to refrain from taking photos with their cell phone and cameras...and I quickly wanted to post on my website "leave your cameras at home" LOL! I mean really, wedding photos I see nowadays are filled with people looking down at their phones or at their cameras...not being present in the moment because they are too busy taking pictures to re-live the moment later. Also, cell phones are known to ring during vows, camera flashing and you cant go to the bathroom because Uncle Bob and Aunt Susie need a pic with you now. All of your photos(UNAPPROVED) are on Facebook and Twitter...even those pictures of your hair and makeup not looking so great after a night of dancing and celebrating! ANYWAY.... The blog was very convincing and I just wanted to share it with you ladies.... Hey ladies!!!
So its probably crazy to ask for an opinion AFTER I purchased the dress....but I wanted your opinion on the dress and shoe I chose for my bridal shower. I love it but I dunno....sometimes I dont....I also wanted to wear like an ivory headband....what do you ladies think? I didnt want to wear the colors of the shower which are plum and sage...I think its gonna be a beautiful shower at a winery restaurant and I wanted to stand out a bit...so what better way to do so than wear White or ivory? lol!  |

Almost 1 month since last update....100 DAYS TO GO *MrsMagraff2be*
Wow Ladies....its been almost one month since my last post...and OMG....I am so sorry....I need to ONCE AGAIN...go catch up!
Okay so since my last update....I have been finalizing things and getting prepared for next months bridal shower....and dealing with all 4 of my classes...along with the craziness at the office and boy have I been overwhelmed! I think its all starting to hit me! How have you ladies been?? Our flights to Jamaica have been booked....and honeymoon is paid off. Exciting right? So is rehearsal luncheon balance....wedding and grooms cake....both my dresses....brass band for New Orleans Second Line performance.... venue.... dj... photobooth....catering....floral and design....we only owe the photographer 400.00 more!!! yay! I have ordered our programs and place cards.... and the addressed envelopes should be back from calligrapher in a week or two!!!! yay!!!! All my girls have their dresses....and accessories. The flower girl dresses are on the way. My mom and grandmother have their dresses....and they will be wearing a dark silver color....I wanted them to coordinate with colors but not wear actual wedding colors. In other word...EVERYTHING IS COMING TOGETHER!!!!! YAYYY!!!! If you follow me on Facebook....then you probably know Im crazy LOL! Anyway....how are things with you ladies???? |

Our colors are very bold and I was a bit worried it wouldnt go together but since our floral/decor vendor sent over the plan for the ceremony and reception and I think like it! I have some type of visual now.
All of our florals will be fuchsia and black vases of different shapes and sizes. along with candle lighting and rose petals at each (see pics) The chairs will be black chiavari with Jade sashes. and the tables will have steel colored table linens...I was against this originally but I believe it will soften the room a bit. black tablecloth...vases and chair is a bit too dark. (see pic) The tables will have beaded charger plate(see pic).....and the napkin will be jade to match the sash on chair. The only fuchsia in the decor will be in flowers. Hopefully this provides a visual to you ladies, I know its hard lol. Tell me what you think? Also...given the information...do you think we should do teal or fuchsia uplighting? |

Hey ladies,
So about 2 weekends ago, I gave FH the day off and spoiled him with a "appreciation day" we had a lovely time...went bowling with friends and also a night at the Omni hotel with wonderful turndown service and breakfast in bed the next morning! He really enjoyed himself and so did I....he never had to pay for a thing! Okay so after leaving hotel...it was time to go shopping for my wedding band and wanted it to match my engagement ring....and omg I am in love..I found the perfect match and it looks as if it belonged with it and cant wait to wear it!!!!!! I wanted to show it to you ladies.... :-) Happy planning!!!! |

Well last Friday we went and applied for our passports for the honeymoon!!! Now that we got that out the way....I am sooooo ready to go! I just want out of this place, I need it! LOL!
