PHOTO WALL FOR SALE! $100
Hey gals - I made this Photo Wall for our wedding reception - plywood, wallpaper, funky frames - it was a HUGE hit!!
The large, empty frames are attached to the plywood; smaller frames were hung and removed for transport but are included (nails still remain on board). We had provided some props (i.e. boas, top hats, veil, pipe, etc.) but these are not included. The wall measures 7' x 3.75' and has sturdy, detachable 6.5' legs that are easily screwed in/out - seemed to work well for folks of all sizes... We're located in Hastings, ON - could arrange for delivery for additional cost if need be. Message me if interested! |

My bachelorette was this past weekend and they sure threw one hell of a bash! To sum things up, let's just say there was loads of bar dancing (ON the bar that is!), lime green shirts and mechanical bulls!!! Oh, and a few drinks... Wow. Good times!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!! |

When It Rains It POURS!!
Bridal Shower Overload
Tonight was the last of my bridal showers! The girls at work threw a 'half-surprise' bash for me which was so sweet of them!! They all went in together and bought me a sewing machine! OH BABY was I excited. I've been using my mum's 30 year old beast for years so it's time to break in my own...let 'er rip...
My bridesmaids threw a HUGE surprise shower a couple of weekends ago and my mum's group of girlfriends threw one the weekend before that! Talk about ego boost.. It truly is amazing how generous people are when it comes to weddings though. We have received SO many nice things and we haven't even gotten to the wedding yet! Everything from bakeware to a blender to garden accessories to custom made pottery to massage oils (...genius by the way...). Unbelievable!! I've left everything in their boxes and bags piled in a corner of our house hoping to get Thank You cards out before the wedding next weekend. Anyone want to place bets on that one?!?! haha. |

Checkity Check Check!!
Woo hoo. Things are getting done and my list is getting shorter! I've had the jelly bean favours (THANK YOU to everyone who recommended taking the easy road by the way!!) done for a week or so but I just did the tags tonight! I'll tie them around the tops of the little jars with raffia and then favours are DONE! The little rocks are for drink tickets. We are giving each guest two drinks on us but didn't want to give out a plain ol' ticket. The planner at our venue suggested doing pebbles and it fit so perfectly with our theme. We painted each one with a cute little daisy so that folks couldn't just grab some rocks from the parking lot...haha. They are freakin' ADORABLE!!! Card bin speaks for itself...pretty standard. Need to add a little sign of some sort to indicate what it is...actually on second thought, maybe not...hmmm...people will get it won't they?! |

No More Toes!
HOLY COW!!! We're down to counting with our fingers ONLY!!!
Deep breaths... Some days I'm super calm and just keep plugging away at my to-do list and then other days (case in point - TODAY!!) reality hits and I realize that THERE ARE ONLY 10 DAYS UNTIL OUR WEDDING!!! AHHH!! haha. Ok, I'm blowing things a little out of proportion here. I like to think I'm still relatively calm (considering...) but seriously - ONLY 10 DAYS! Can't wait!! I have so much to post but so little time... I'll try to get some DIY stuff up over the next couple of days! |

The Ceremony
Officially DONE!
Well thank God - 12 sleeps to go and we're JUST finalizing our ceremony!!! Oh man. Our poor, poor minister!
I had mentioned in a previous post we weren't quite happy with our ceremony and that our officiant didn't seem to want to work with us. We met with her tonight and all is good in the hood. We met in the middle and we're ALL happy!! YAY!! |

Bridesmaids Necklaces
After looking and and searching and hunting for a necklace that I liked and that would work, I finally just settled on buying a few odds and ends and throwing it all together.
I'm super happy with the end product and hope my gals feel the same. I felt like I needed to do a pendant style necklace with the V neckline of the dresses and am glad I did. Not sure if it might be too big though... we could easily lose the biggest loop the day of. No biggie. |

OH MY GOD!!
I got my headpiece (WOW!!!) in the mail this week from brendasbridalveils on Etsy and also picked up a pair of shoes at Payless that work. Sooo - when we went in for the bridesmaids fittings, I just had to put my dress on to get a 'feel' for everything all together. It still isn't completely finished yet as far as alterations but you get the idea. I LOVE everything on it's own anyway but when it was all together - WOW!! I cried... So so so pretty!! I can't wait to see Rob's reaction! |

So far so good!
Well I think this was just the thing to get me back in the mood!
Wow...the dresses look AWESOME so far! They still need to be hemmed up to the knee, taken in a bit in the skirt and steamed. All the girls - and me!! - like 'em (thank goodness). And bridesmaid #4 is coming home from London, England a few days before the wedding so fingers crossed that her last minute fittings go smoothly. I wasn't sure about the halter at first (the girls each picked their own neckline style) but she's the Maid of Honour so it TOTALLY works!! Sooo excited!! And I LOOOVE the colour. Just picture this with daisies!!! Mmmm... |

For some strange reason, I haven't been feeling like planning or doing much of anything wedding related over the past few weeks. Not quite sure what's up with that because I've LOVED every minute of it so far - and also because there is still SOOO much to do....
