Before I get started on my new dress I have a huge announcement to make... WE'RE MOVING UP THE WEDDING!!!!!!!!! :)))) January 7, 2011 is the new day. Pray for me ladies!

So I had finally decided I wasn't happy with my dress and went dress shopping. I went by myself and was terrified that the consultant would convince me to buy a dress I wasn't in love with considering I'm a huge pushover. So I walked into the store and got to looking through some dresses and realized they're all strapless. Every single one of them in my size. I was highly disappointed because I never wear anything strapless because I feel I have linebacker shoulders. However, the consultant insisted I try some on. I picked out three I liked on the rack and they ended up being three that I liked on me! I tried on a ballgown, an a-line and a modified mermaid and they all flattered my plus size figure! I was so shocked! I ended up picking the a-line because it was so elegant and it was just classy glamour.

Tell me what you guys think! I'll be putting up photos of me in the dress shortly!

Hello my WBC ladies! I've missed you all sooo much and I have loads to tell you!

So, I've fallen into the general population of brides.. I'm second guessing my dress. So much that I'm purchasing a new one on preownedweddingdresses.com.

My whole life I've dreamed of having an elaborate ball gown with a long train trailing behind me as I head down to the altar. Although I love how romantic and slightly sexy my current dress is, I just feel like the anticipated "WOW!" factor is not there. This dress that I've chosen has everything I could ever dream of and hopefully I'll still feel that way when I try it on. I'm so elated that I found a second dress! After it's all said and done, my dresses will total $847... which really isn't that bad considering that's a fraction of what most people pay these days.

Keep me in your prayers, ladies!

Prepare to be awestruck! This is my beautiful flowergirl, Harper (my niece)! She loves her 'Sissy" (me) and loves to dress up so, this oughta be a great experience. :)

Isn't she absolutely BEAUTIFUL?! :D

So, I went by Hobby Lobby the other day hoping to find some wedding decor and all of their wedding stuff was 50% off! How lucky am I?! I also got the flowergirl headband and sash at David's Bridal. Oh, and my peacock feathers finally came in so I have 110 feathers to decorate with.. for now. ;)

I went to David's Bridal yesterday for a bridesmaid appointment with two of my girls and paid off the rest of my dress and got to bring it home! I was having second thoughts about it but as soon as I put it back on all of the doubts disappeared.

Disregard my absence of makeup.

The other girl is Justin's little sister Shelly, my youngest bridesmaid. Isn't she beautiful?

So this cake is pretty much what I want my cake to look like.

I want the cake white. I want the pillars in between the 2nd and 3rd layer and I want the teal stripe around the bottom of each layer. On top I want a silver "M".

Oh, and I'm putting live flowers and and a few peacock feathers in with the pillars. :)

So my wedding has a peacock theme, but I don't want to over-do it. My colors are teal and black and I'm not sure what flowers to choose!

I like adding some red roses in the arrangements, but not as much as this picture.

I like that idea for the boutonniere, but not so hot on the purple.

I like the floral arrangement, but not so much green and pink.

Sorry, I'm picky :| HELP!

These are my wedding shoes! Now let me explain... These are jazz dance shoes. I'm a seasoned dancer.. going on 13 years... and tap dancing is my career and also my life. I auditioned as a tap dancer for the show "So You Think You Can Dance" and received a golden ticket to the second day of competition. Since I clearly can't wear tap shoes under my dress I'm wearing jazz shoes! I'm going to have a dance mom "bedazzle" them with some rhinestones. Dance is a HUGE part of my life and clearly has to be part of my wedding and I thought this would be the perfect way to incorporate it. :)

So, all of my girls are wearing different dresses and these are all some dress options for them!

They will all be in the color "Jade" by David's Bridal. The cover picture of the first dress is the color "Jade". Hopefully this is the dress that MOH is wearing. There are pictures of my MOH in this dress on my Wedding Dress post. :)

I'm going to request that they all wear black, close-toed heels.
