What to do with 100 Glass Jars?
HELP! Any ideas??
Back in July last year, we thought it would be really cool to give my family's famous green chili and FH family's famous jelly away as favors. so we found a sale on the jars needed for them, they are pretty small though, and bought 100. but then money became too tight for us to make a trip down to new mexico to make the chili (as the recipe demands) so we missed the opportunity to make the chilli by this summer. so that idea is out :( so now i have a bunch of jars i dont know what to do with. The only thing i can think of is to make candles, but i wanted to see if you guys had any other ideas? if i cant think of anything worth while, i'm gonna try and return them (we'll see how well that works out) if i cant, then i have plenty of jars for this year's chilli run lol
I dont have any ideas yet for party favors. here's what i've thought of so far (keep in mind tight budget): DIY candy suckers -OR- DIY Portrait Station cant find a good pic of this but i found it in a Brides-CO mag. Hang a piece of bold, patterned fabric and set up a tripod to capture your guests as they pose for their own portraits. Set up a photo printer on a table next to the camera and hand out prints on photo cards. From Brides.com Local magazines Something kinda like this: ![]() |
