Yes if you are indoors no need for fans

When I was a guest at a wedding, and I was there more than 10 minutes before the ceremony started, I used my program as a fan, whether or not I was hot out.  Now, I also tend to figit (is that how you spell it??) a bit, so that could be just me.

But, if you already have the idea, I'd say go for it.

I am having fan style programs at our wedding, but the style is a little different than yours.  We will be indoors, & I dont imagine it blazing hot here  inMarch, but our fans are more cosmetic than functional.  Just like the last comment mentions, when large groups of people gather in a room, some of us tend to fan ourselves to get some circulation going.  I don't think your idea is silly at all.  If you like it, then it's all good.  Otherwise, if you feel wierd, Id go ahead & change it.

I'm of the belief nothing is "who cares" to a bride..lol  Details are very important!..lol Were  using programs fans. Were having a indoor ceremony and a outdoor reception. If your having both indoors I would  change it up. Your could still do something really cute and attach your ribbon to the top. Good Luck!

Were personally not bothering with programs. We are trying to keep it simple and beautiful.

Yea, i would say leave them out. I would only use program fans b/c they will neeed to fan them selves outside.

Quite a few indoor locations are just as hot...if not hotter then some outdoor ones.  That might be something you want to chek in first because you're wedding is in July.  

What you can always do is there is a website called

They have these paper fans that you can buy in your wedding colours.  It's only 3 dollars for a dozen fans and you can include them with your program or have them available with some bottled water.

Now some churches also have industrial air conditioners as well...so like i said...check with the location first on a hot day.
