I wanted to know everyone's opinion on this matter. Is it necessary for the mother-in-law to wear a dress that coordinates with the wedding colors?? I have a friend getting married and she got really upset that her mother-in-law purchased a non-coordinating dress for the wedding. Is it that big of a deal?

So my journey into wedding planning has started...and I am so very excited! My fabulous friend, Connie, put me onto to this site so I have to say hi to her! Let's see....Tim & I have been engaged since last summer. We've decided on a long engagement to make sure that our finances were right since we are paying for our wedding. I'm also finishing up my master's this fall so I wanted to have enough time where I wasn't going crazy w/ school & work & wedding planning.

So here is the low down on what's going on so far. I've booked the site!! Yeah! We are having it at the Citrus Club in Orlando. I absolutely LOVE it because it is on the 18th floor of a high-rise in the middle of downtown with spectacular views of the city. It has big windows that go all the way around the club and I just thought it was THE perfect place. It fits my style to a tee. At this point, I am struggling to nail down the wedding colors. I'm sure every bride-to-be has the same issues. I'm thinking pinks and champagne. I really want to have a romantic feel to it.
