Hello everyone,
Well it's been 19 days since our wedding and I am happier than ever! Our wedding turned out to be beautiful and I wish i could redo it all over again. Both families were there to support us, but disapointingly our best friends did not show (No idea why??) But we were so focused on each other that we didnt even notice who was missing, and enjoyed those who were there. My favorite part of the day, was when he saw me for the first time at the university where we took photos before the ceremony... the look on his face was priceless :) We had a lot of fun with the photographer and my family and the pics turned out beautiful. We were surprised at all the beautiful things our family friend Ana Delgado did at the church and reception...she really outdid herself with all the decorations. Our cake was absolutely deliscious and gorgeous! Our baker did exactly what we asked for and more... thanks Gisela! All i can say is that nothing else matters when you have the love of your life staring back at you... all the small details and stress fly away because the true purpose of that day is to be united with the one you love. Wedding Cake
flavors??
This weekend we met with the baker and she asked us what ideas we had for a perfect wedding cake. I told her what i wanted and she gave me some ideas to make it even better than i envisioned it. We picked something similar to this picture, it will be squared w/ purple ribbon and the silver beads on each tier. We had a cake tasting, but the cake she made was a buttercream with almond and vanilla flavor.... it was out of this world delicious! The cake i want is going to be Fondant, but i have never tasted fondant before.....
Let's just say that my sister's Tiffany boxes inspired wedding cake turned out to be a buttercream disaster, so i learned from her mistake :) Then she asked me about flavors.... ????? I had no idea i had to have a flavor. Im not a fan of fruit flavors on a cake so i asked her if she can make the fondant taste just like the buttercream cake? A White almond and vanilla flavor... She said yes! But now i'm wondering if i can have some bavarian cream filling? or white chocolate? will it make the cake less moist? I dunno what to do??? or if i should stick to my first choice? |

change of dress style
So after a long weekend searching for the perfect dresses to make my MOH and my BM happy, we finally found them. They both look so gorgeous in their dresses and i'm happy with their choices! My bridal party will now have different shades of purple, but it looks very nice!

I have been listening to music choices for weeks now and i have so many choices i'm undecided on which one to pick for the wedding ceremony. I have narrowed it down to a few choices, but I think i need some insight and opinions...

after my wedding...
I will need anger management
most of you can understarnd what im going through... My FH is not inputting any opinion to the preparation of the wedding, he seems not to have an opinion at all. When i ask him something he answrs "i dunno", "doesnt matter", or "you pick it". I have been patient with him but i'm about to explode!!! Im not marrying my self, this is "our" wedding! I yelled today and got very upset because i heard the same dumb answer im sick of him saying. I'm frustrated cause we are days from the wedding and he is acting like we are getting married in 2012.
Any suggestions?? Thanks for letting me rant! lol |

My Bouquet
Its gonna be great
I found this great website that had the bouquet i wanted. I fell in love with the idea of having a purple bouquet. They are silk flowers and yet look so real. The reason why i went with silk is because i can keep my bouquet and treasure it forever.

There are a lot of ppl involved in the preparation of our wedding due to it having been announced just weeks ago. Thankfully i have a close friend who is a professional photographer and will be shooting the wedding for us.
