My programs will most likely be my LAST DIY project!!! This is a mockup (not printed on cardstock). I just realized the headline titles on the back need to be pink, fixed that on my laptop. It came out pretty good! They're ready & waiting to be printed!

Candyland Bridal Shower
Had my shower today & i had soooooo much fun!!! Everyone worked so hard and everything was beautiful! I had a nice little turn out & that's all i could ask for! There was candy EVERYWHERE!! I was in heaven!! Surprisingly, i loved ALL my gifts! (I'm very picky...lol) Today was a great day!!!

1 MONTH LEFT!!!
So i've reached the 30 day mark!!! I'm suoer excited!!! All of my projects are done, except for programs and a few chair signs. My bridal shower is Sunday, can't wait to get my hands on all that candy!!! Daddy has a few checks left to hand out, but other than that, WE'RE READY!!!

New Reception Dress!!!
Yesterday my mother & i were riding around, doing last minute things for my bridal shower. We passed by Lemon Drop, a store that carries wedding & formal wear. She had been saying she wanted to go there before we found her dress, which we found at Dillard's 2 weeks ago. I knew it was a bad idea for me to go in there but i did it anyway lol. The salesperson told us that every dress in the store was 50% off! I got super excited! I was walking around & stumbled across this beautiful dress that was EXACTLY what i wanted for my reception and just happened to be my size!! I went back today & put it on layaway!!! I've decided to wear the pink Vera for my bridal shower. (don't mind the red bandana...lol)

After months of trying to muster up the energy & motivation to complete this project, my purse is done!!! I looked at it today & decided today was the day i'd finish. I sat down and 2.5 hours later it's done! It's so sparkly & its gonna match my shoes perfectly!!

More AWESOMENESS from Vistaprint!
I LOVE Vistaprint!! They've been such a huge help throughout this whole process! I was initially planning for 200 guests so i purchased 200 diamond paperweights as favors. The guestlist has hit 300 and I'm pretty sure it'll be close to 350 or maybe even 400 once the big day is here. As little "extras" i made these cute postcards with our pictures on them as Thank Yous. I put a cute little poem on the back and now we have extra favors!
I also got this sign to put on the highway to let people know where to turn. Even though the venue has a HUGE billboard, i just thought it was cute, and it was free! I'm gonna decorate it with pink feathers. These cute tote bags were 50% so i got one for my mom and his mom! |

Wedding Photography
Bridal Shoot yesterday!
So i had my bridal shoot yesterday & it was sooooo much fun! The fiance took photos with me & my mother was there to assist me. The photographer normally shoots for 3 hours but for some reason she took pics of us from 1:00 to 7:30!!! Now personally i can take photos ALL DAY with no problem, but my fiance was so ready to be done with it & my mother was exhausted...lol!! From what i saw our photos will be GORGEOUS & she told me she's gonna use my pics on a billboard when she does advertising for bridal/wedding pics!!

Our wedding theme is "Summetime Glam". The colors are shades of pink, aqua, white, and silver. There will be accents of crystals and feathers. The ceremony will be outside at sunset by a lake and will be decorated with soft pinks. The reception, which will be inside, will be decorated with deeper pinks and accents of the softer pinks with hints of aqua.
